eating

Avatar n tn But in the starting, when he was 1 or 2 week old, he sleeps whole day but not at the night time and cry alot. Sometime, it is very bothersome but as he was too young too understand all this. He keep crying. We called our family doctor and he said he is on formula milk, which is sometime hard to digest, the baby must have acidity because of formula milk. But this is entirely vary baby to baby how formula milk works to their health. After few months he automatically changes his sleeping routine.
99627 tn?1301270952 If she has proper weight gain, output and isn't fussy after eating, I wouldn't bother. I used to wake my daughter up to feed her, but that was only because if she went too long she got too frantic and couldn't latch on and nurse. I wouldn't bother waking her. She'll get herself up when she's hungry.
435139 tn?1255460391 I would wake him (unless it's at nite). Your body is still adjusting to how much milk to produce and you don't want your milk supply to decrease. I often had to strip my baby when she was a newborn to get her to eat. Also newborns can dehydrate quickly.

Avatar f tn How often do you feed your newborn? New mom to be right here and I'm due next month!
Avatar f tn s way of reminding you how often you should be eating. My doctor told me to eat 6 small healthy meals a day and snacks in between.
Avatar f tn I've gained too much weight too according to my WIC chart but my doctors haven't said anythin' to me about It. I've gained 43 pounds and prolly still counting!!! It's not like "I'm eating for two" I've been eating completely normal with some "deserts" here and there. But my WIC counselor told me that's not all of us gaining that weight as In tummy wise, It also Is the placenta, uterus, baby, plus tummy weight.
Avatar f tn How often should a newborn be feeding? What's the normal amount? I'm just curious. Also, what's the best way to get your baby into the routine of sleeping at night instead of all day?
Avatar n tn s the next step? How often should i have her checked? what are the alarming symptoms? Please help me...
Avatar f tn Try eating protein rich foods to curb your hunger.
Avatar n tn Have they been to the vet? I'm wondering of the over-eating could have something to do with internal parasites...and that he's compensating for the nutrition loss by eating more. That can also give the kitten a "pot-bellied" appearance sometimes. Kittens are often born with worms, so even thought they've been in your care since they were newborn, they might still have it.
Avatar f tn I have a newborn puppy and his mother won't have anything to do with him. He was born yesterday and we have to hold is mom down for him to eat. Unfortunately we don't know how long to let him eat. He over ate yesterday and it came back up his nose. Now he can't stop sneezing. Is there anything we can do to help him?
Avatar f tn s been eating 4 oz since he was 3 weeks also if u use a pacifier try offering her that instead see of shell take that cuz son would act hungry after eating too but I just give him his pacifier and he's fine
Avatar f tn OK. I don't know everything about bf as I've been doing it for only 5 weeks. Yes it is completely normal for her to feed so often. She's a newborn and they cluster feed a lot which helps your milk production. It is frustrating trust me. Your milk isn't usually fully established until around 6 weeks so pumping will just depend on you. Feed on demand helps milk :) drink a ton of water too!
Avatar f tn hi, I have been on low carb for over a year, I went on it because I was actually falling asleep driving after eating carbs. I have lost 23 kg, I have been tested for several things and have no blood sugar issues, low blood pressure (90 / 55) and my thyroid is slow but not drastically so. Recently, the tiredness after eating started to return. I have had, a couple of hours ago, a tuna salad (tuna, mayo, cheddar) and I am battling to keep my eyes open as I type. I can't take much more of this.
