Problem is i started getting patches of raised bumps , like pimples and they itch , never had this before now .. I read you should not use zovirax ointment on the inside vaginal are , what do I do , My Doctor evidently does not give directions well or is this not the case, iam scared been withmy husband 16yrs and never had any problems and all of a sudden I have raised bumps all over ... She gave me valtrex and I had a svere allergic reaction to it. Migrains , skin rash and sore throat.
When I returned home, it looked completely healed, with the initial redness completely gone and no pain or itchiness. Unfortunately, a few days after that, the skin around the tattoo became red. Originally it was only a small area around the tattoo that was red, and I assumed that it would pass. It has since progressed to a fairly large area on my ankle, centering around the tattoo. The area is red, raised about a millimeter, and the edges of the bump are harder than normal.
I use it daily with sugar as a scrub and at night used lucas paw paw ointment.
The area should be washed off with an antibacterial soap each time before you apply the ointment. Any new crust that forms should not be removed because this delays healing.
The bacteria live underneath the soft scabs, and until these are removed, the antibiotic ointment has difficulty getting through to the bacteria to kill them. Soak the area for 15 to 20 minutes in warm soapy water. Use a liquid antibacterial soap. Then gently remove the crusts.
There have also been what appears to be bumps under the skin. This has been only recently, and I have been with the same partner for the past few months, who is STD-free. Is it possible I could be seeing symptoms from being withs someone else that are only appearing now? Or could this be something different than an STD?

The lesion that you have described sounds like a scar with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The treatment for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation includes various skin creams like hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment.Apply hydroquinone cream on this scar and it should go away in a few days to months.If it still persists then you can go in for laser treatment, Chemical peeling or microdermabrasion.
For more than a month the skin on the top of my thumb at the tip of the nail has been peeling. When it started it dried out and cracked open and peeled back revealing fresh pink skin underneath. As that skin lightens and "matures" it cracks open, peels back and reveals a new layer of skin. Its a never ending cycle. There was never bleeding or pus, but when its revealing the new skin it is tender.
Did you read the post about the A&D ointment? My eyes get a lil crusty n watery. Created redness on skin around them. The ointment works good. I've cleared up. I also use a wetting solution for contact lens wearers. Good luck. The sunglasses sound like a good deal.
The peeling was due to using too much of the cream; your right. My chin area looks like it has been bleached and it's kind of like white/pink. I don't know what to do. Is my natural brown skin color going to come back? At the moment I'm using Clobetasol Propionate Ointment USP, 0.05% on the affected area which is my chin. I'm afraid to try new products cause I don't know what's the outcome of it. Write back ASAP. Thanks.
You need water at the temperature 45c to 48 c Shower or bath the effected area and rub the water over the skin to continually break the surface tension of the water so that the right temperature touches the skin. At least 2 times a day and use natural beez wax ointment after each treatment.
Use a safe thermometer don't go over 49c .
and i was planing to go to the clinic in philippines knowing that they know the possible problem for my skin type... i forgot to tell you the std clinic gave me a new ointment betamethasone 0.025% and clioquinol 3.0% cream.. i used it and it made it disappear... but after i stop using the ointment for my penis and butt.. it went back again to the same condition.. and my penis now, looks bad.. it has white spots and dark spots and red spots..

I recently decided to sleep in the basement due to the heatwave in New England because my a/c was broken.
I woke up, and had a raised rash on my side of my torso. It is raised, with white little bumps, and itches and sometimes stings.
I think I was bit by something a bunch, maybe a spider or bed bugs. Close family thinks its more serious and I should see a doctor. I am in between careers and low on cash with no health insurance, so a doctor is my last resort.

Try using some olive oil to treat the dry skin and itching. Have you started using some new facial cleansers or moisturizers lately. If so discontinue, use the olive oil.
