What baby skin care products does our new born need? Which company products are good that available in canada.

Currently manufacturers of skin products have been trying to provide a wide array of skin care products to suit each skin type. For an individual to get the best skin care, one should follow a particular regimen of cleansing, toning , exfoliating and moisturizing. As one grows older however, exfoliation may damage the thinning skin. Cleansing and moisturizing are still essential as one ages. The use of sunscreen for the face is still a must.

Large pores can be easily dealt with proper cleansing and frequent toning and moisturizing of the skin. Other treatments to consider include microdermabrasion, skin resurfacing lasers and chemical skin peels. In my opinion you should discuss these treatment options with a cosmetologist/dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.

I did go to a Aesthetician for some regiment to use on my face since I have really never used skin care products. The product that was recommended for my face and the issues I mentioned was Obagi System by NU-Derm. I went with my girlfriend to her Dermatologist and who has the same problems as I and they recommended Revalskin cleanser, SkinCeuticals serum 15, Ultimate UV SPF 30, B5 Gel and Neova Creme De La Copper to her and I.

My dermatologist recommended several skin care products for me. One that she recommended was Cetaphil. I use Dermalogica. Dermalogica has a sensitive skin line of products that has been helpful to me. I use all of the products in that line. I'm sure there are other sensitive skin products as well.

I also have a slight rash on my fingers. The rash appeared in January 2010 after moving into a new house and I still have it. I have seen three physicians, a dermatologist and an allergist and no one can figure out what I have except that they think I am having an allergic reaction to something. I have had steroid shots, prendisone, and another steroid medication that starts with an "m" but I can't remember the name, Zyrtec, Xyzal and Ranitidine.

Does this sound like eczema? Or could this be from new skin care products or more face washing in general even though I'm not using product on those areas? I generally have pretty oily skin, so dry patches are very weird for me.

s tear-free shampoo and baby care products are the worst, they contain many artificial fragrances that are supposed to "smell like a baby"... they say it's gentle but in fact they are so harsh that the these tearless shampoos in fact contain numbing agents that prevent a child from feeling the sting of the product in their eyes... and we thought that they just didn't contain any irritants!!! Don't be fooled by clever marketing executives...

I used honey for my nipples when they got sore. Straight natural honey. I cant use soap products on my skin anyway so I use soap free products and had no problem. If you rinse and dry yourself properly I don't see the problem. And if your still worried, use baby soap.

I use Aveeno baby gentle conditioning shampoo because one of my kids has eczema and it works good. It gets them clean without all the harsh scents.

There are many products available in the market today that claims to strengthen sensitive skin. If you try new products, it is recommended that you try one at a time a week apart to be able to identify the product that may not be suited for you. Before taking any medication such as Retin-A, discuss with your attending physician first for proper management.

Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. In addition to the steroid treatments, use good quality moisturizers to prevent moisture loss from the skin. In most cases of eczema no one treatment will be effective. A combination of therapies to treat the skin and making lifestyle changes(prevention of triggers and application of lots of moisturizers) to control flare-ups is helpful in long cases.

Neosporin is good to use after you clean the wound. There are many over the counter products can help reduce scarring. Check with your local pharmacist. Most scarring just fades into the natural folds of your neck.

Nothing I have done improves this, adding moisture, reducing moisture, exfoiliating, purchasing oily skin products, talking to people w/ oily skin and then using their cleansers and products. This is incredibly frustrating, as I take good care of my skin and can rule out probable causes: -hormonal change/imbalance Definitively out bc I am on the pill, this did not come around my period or ovulation cycle.
