Nurse advised me to take ZIDOLAM-N as PEP for 28 days. After continuing for 3 days i visited a doctor and he told me that Nevirapine should not be used for PEP but since i already started the PEP, he advised me to continue the same medication and asked to monitor closely the side effects of the drug. Now today Friday i am experiencing some pain in the upper abdomen. Is there any possibility that i can change the PEP drug to avoid nevirapine, please Suggest?

I am going to the US in 2 days, if I cannot find a way to get pep here, could I take his ARVs just until then as a temporary measure? He says he takes nevirapine and tenofivir/lamivudine blend. Any advice really appreciated! If my risk is very low I would prefer not to take pep but I suspect I may be best advised to do so. If it makes a difference, I am prone to have a tiny amount of blood(I think from tears) on toilet paper when I use the bathroom so that may make it more risky? Thanks!

First week was fine and the second week his stool has became hard and clay like. Doctor said to give him Karo syrup. I did that with my first son but he was several months old at the time, now 3 yrs od and is a healthy kid. Im just being a little skeptical about giving a newborn karo syrup in the formula. wich ive never taken although i did take a sip of cough syrup that said on the label prometh /vc codeine syrup could this be mistaken for methadone. i had the normal oxycodone in my system. could the meth in prometh and the done in oxycodone show up as methadone , it oviosly can because i didnt take any methadon.please reply asap.
