nevirapine once daily

Nurse advised me to take ZIDOLAM-N as PEP for 28 days. After continuing for 3 days i visited a doctor and he told me that Nevirapine should not be used for PEP but since i already started the PEP, he advised me to continue the same medication and asked to monitor closely the side effects of the drug. Now today Friday i am experiencing some pain in the upper abdomen. Is there any possibility that i can change the PEP drug to avoid nevirapine, please Suggest?

Hi everyone. I was originally placed on atenolol 50mg once daily for hyperthyroidism associated tachycardia but was found to have an arrythmia so while my thyroid is normal now, I am staying on the atenolol but have decreased the dose to 25mg daily.

I am going to the US in 2 days, if I cannot find a way to get pep here, could I take his ARVs just until then as a temporary measure? He says he takes nevirapine and tenofivir/lamivudine blend. Any advice really appreciated! If my risk is very low I would prefer not to take pep but I suspect I may be best advised to do so. If it makes a difference, I am prone to have a tiny amount of blood(I think from tears) on toilet paper when I use the bathroom so that may make it more risky? Thanks!

I was on midrin for a long while but I got used to it and started to max out and had the aide of other pills. I was put on Maxalt and it stopped working in a couple of months and I often time had to mix it with other pills. Between appt I took excedrin extra strength, I was taking 3 or 4 pills for two hours.

I have had daily headaches for well over a couple years. Four to five years ago my doc thought they were migraines and I took Imitrex about once every 2 weeks. Then I started getting a worse headache from the Imitrex, like my entire head was supersensitive, my hair hurt. He sent me to a neurologist who diagnosed occiptal neuralgia. My tests all came back ok @ that time but they wanted me to stick with it. I forgot, I also have progesterone to take - I understand that can irritate the uterine lining, too. First thing a grabbed this morning at 7am after getting only 3 hours of restless sleep....5 norcos.....I told my self I'll just take these 5 and that will last me all day....which I say everyday (when I'm getting low) and it never happens. I have 20 left and a refill for monday.... And I'm like in a panic about what I'm gonna do tomorrow when I have to go to work for 10 hours and then saturday as well. I'm off on sunday..so I can be as miserable as I want on sunday....
