Sounds like me! The first trimester I had so much acne. I use the neutrogena face wash that's in the plan bottle at Wal-mart. It's orange. It's for oily skin and it really is the only thing that helped. For moisturizer I ordered the philosophy off of sephora. But I'm sure if you get something gentle and made for the face it'll be okay. It nearly went away with my second trimester.

I know that proactiv made it worse but the clean and clear acne kit really helped. My skin broke out everywhere-my face, chest,back. My baby is already 4 months and my acne JUST cleared up. I am still dealing with a little bit but for the most part it is gone and now I am just dealing with all of the scars that it left behind. I am using the Neutragena acne mark fading cream. It is a small blue bottle that costs about 14 dollars.

I am a fair-skinned 57 yearold woman who has been on Retinoids since I was thirty due to adult female acne. I was on Renova for a few years, then Tazarotene, but now am on generic Retin-A 0.01% for cost reasons. My other meds are for mood, allergy, hypothyrhoid, cholesterol, and hormone-replacement therapy. My skin is lovely except for enlarged pores on my nose and flakes around my nostrils. I can pull them off one at a time with tweezers, but it's very time consuming.

I use velocity from Mary Kay its marketed for teens but it works amazing at keeping my oil under control I love it. And now its helping with my acne. Since I started it 3 weeks ago my face is considerably clearer and not looking like I have chickenpox on my face....

Ives exfoliating body wash it helped me a lot with my body acne and got rid of it very quickly. I actually like it better than neutrogena products because it works better for me and smells better.

Any way to clear pregnancy acne ?

I have this for about 4 years, but never saw a doctor about it. I treat it with over the counter acne meds, but it just won't go away. It just keeps the pimples at bay. They usually don't open, sometimes they are very painful and sometimes itchy. I have serious problems a few days after drinking red wine. Then my face looks twice as bad with the redness and outbreaks. I'm in my mid 40's, female. I eat very healthy, and I'm activ, non-smoker.

In the past I was battling acne and had luck w/ neutrogena acne wash; my problem is that a lot of cleansers have sodium lauryl sulfate (or derivatives) of it including the neutrogena. Do you know of cleansers/moisturizers that are effective in controlling all three skin conditions?

I use clean and clear deep action exfoliating scrub and the morning burts hydrating facial cleaner and the neutrogena all in 1 acne control daily scrub. I use the morning burst and 4 in 1 when I wake up and the deep action and 4 in 1 before bed. My skin has always been clear but I broke out durning pregnancy and this rountine works for me. Also get the clean and clear moisturer since your skin may dry out.

I used to never have any issues with acne,now it's become a huge problem..is there any women out there that know the secret to keep your skin from breaking out so bad?

Ugh I have it all over my back and arms I've never seen anything like it. I use Neutrogena oil free face wash with acne free benzoid spot cream on my face but my back is a lost cause. I combine sallycilic acid treatments with benzoid so it kills a ton.

I went to my dermatologist they prescribed me a gel after the first trimester I also started using the Neutrogena grapefruit scrub which works really good on your skinif you're looking to spend more I also went to my Mary Kay consultant she gave me a bunch of products that worked at nightgood luck

I suffered from acne from age 15-19, it was miserable... and I get it sometimes now (I'm almost 24 weeks pregnant)... I didn't notice any major skin changes after my m/c last year but it makes sense. Your hormones may still be a little off. Acne usually doesn't start in your mid-late 20's; if you have it it's usually temporary. So don't worry about having it permanently or anything.

im 16 near 17, n since i was about 14 i have had bad chest and back acne.. i recieved antibiotics and a cream when i was 14, and the tablets did work and so did the cream but its gotten to a stage were its stopped working and i dont know why. Its getting me horrribly down because i like to go out to clubs etc with my friends and wear nice clothes like any normal 16 year old girl, but i cant because i dont want people to see my chest.

Oh my goodness yes! On my back and my boobs it is so unpleasant. I started using some Neutrogena acne body wash. Hopefully it works.

Is it normal to have breakouts every day? I'm 31 weeks today and I have had acne all over my chest, shoulders arms and lower jaw. Also is there a safe way to treat while pregnant? I'm so aggravated with the itchy skin and scarring left from the old bumps. It's not cute at all.

i have really bad acne and i buy OTC creams all the time Clearasil, Clean Clear, Neutrogena, Oxy, zap zit, and others that i cant remember i have even tried proactive and these acne creams that i have used i get a rash all over my face on the first day i use them my face starts to itch then by the third day my face starts turning red and swollen can someone help me is there something i can buy to use for acne that wont make my face itchy and red
