Regardless, the lateral foot pain is horrid! The surgeon recommended removing the implant and removing the nerve while he was in there. I am now 6-weeks post op.
Thoughts?
1) Should I be concerned with anything?
2) He did tell me I would have an area of numbness (where?).
3) Any motor problesm I need to be concerned about?
My questions are, what are my chances that this could be a sign of cancer, and praying that its not, would I still be a candidate for breast augmentation surgery? Im worrying myself sick over all of this and very nervous about the results!

Hi i had breast implants but in, in June 07 i was a 32a and had 245 anatomic implants.
On 7/3/09 experienced a visual aura following by dull pressure on top of head. Classic one with lightning bolts. Things have gone downhill since. Pressure moves in head from temples, bridge of nose, ears, teeth, jaw. Also with this is constant dry eyes.
I had breast augmentation 15 years ago and my left breast is still numb on one side. Touching it is like touching someone else, it's creepy because I can't feel it. The nipple feeling came back after awhile but not very much. I do not like for it to be touched at all. My husband has just learned to stay away from that one! I would give anything to go back to the way I was before.
The formation of a very thick scar tissue capsule surrounding an implant occurs in a small per cent of patients undergoing breast augmentation. This results in a very hard breast that can sometimes be painful. This can be interpreted as "rejection" of the implant, but there are many theories as to its cause. I had a breast augmentation in May to fix where I had breastfed my first baby. We hadn't planned on getting pregnant again but I am currently 9 weeks. If I new I was going to have another baby I would have waited to have Surgery my I breast-fed my daughters my youngest is 7 we were done but to are surprise I got pregnant but I can say only in the very beginning my breast hurt really really bad but now that I'm almost do I have no pain yes my breasts are larger but no sense of feeling of anything coming in so leads me to believe when they did my reduction they did cut out my milk glands

Capsule contracture, is indeed the most common complication of breast augmentation surgery. It can happen at any time, but seems to be more common in the first several months after surgery. The cause for capsule contracture are still not clear. I have a breast augmentation scheduled for Tuesday. Friday I got the results from my mammogram and they detected calcifications on my left breast that were not there 2 years ago. They would like me to have a follow up mammogram in 6 months. Both my breast surgeon and GYN have talked on the phone to each other and the likelihood of this being anything other than benign is very low.

What you have is probably Scalene Myofascial Pain Syndrome. When scalene muscle is the cause of pain, the pain is referred to chest, inner lining of scapula (shoulder bone), shoulder, posterior and lateral sides of the arm right up to the thumb and index finger.
It is also possible due to peripheral artery disease. Peripheral neuropathies as in diabetes, chemical burns due to any deo or lotions you use, peripheral nerve compression are the other possibilities.
I just got a breast augmentation last week. And the day after I started noticing an area on my stomach was tender. I kinda just let it go. But then over the week the pain got way worse. Just had breast augmentation last Monday. Been having to use stomach muscles a lot to get in and out of bed. I feel some type of movment above my belly button and a little to the left. I'm obviously not pregnant. But sometimes when I move in will feel a sudden sharp pain like someone is stabbing me in the same spot. It last maybe a few seconds and goes away. hi,I had a breast augmentation 3 weeks ago.It was done on monday august 18th.On thursday august 21 i woke up to a hard painful mass on my left chest on the upper part of it.It's right where the cleavage is.Its the size of a ping pong ball.It hasn't gotten any better.It hurts so bad that when i go to get up i cry.I went to the emergency room that saturday and they did an ultra sound and said there's a big mass but nothing contaning fluid and then kicked me out the door.
