Nefazodone hci

Common Questions and Answers about Nefazodone hci

serzone

Avatar f tn I might have a solution for you after examining the pharmacology of Nefazodone. To get about the same result you had with Nefazodone with no weight gain I would recommend sertraline (Zoloft) combined with Wellbutrin XL. To get a significant antagonizing effect to your 5-HT2 receptors you would need mirtazapine but it is related with weight gain so I would try the Zoloft with Wellbutrin XL which will basically in a SNDRI like Nefazodone and see how it goes.
Avatar f tn However you can find plenty of digestive enzymes supplements and betaine HCI with pepsin supplements on the market. Some brands contain both enzymes and betaine HCI with pepsin. Brands my mother takes - Nature's Sunshine Protein Digestive Aid which contains betaine HCI with pepsin. Dr Sandra Cabot's Digestive Enzymes (previously taking for over a year) Vegetarian Digestive Enzymes by Metagenics (currently taking). Prefers this brand but both enzyme supplements work well.
Avatar m tn The composition of the syrup is each 5ml contains 4mg Promethazine HCI, 9mg Codeine Phosphate and 8mg Ephedrine HCI. Each bottle of the syrup is 120 ml, I usually take one or two bottle of it. In my country, tablet with single composition is available. Which one/two of the tablet can replace the syrup?
Avatar n tn Can I Take Diphenhydramine HCI 50mg and Clonazepam .5mg and Lithium Carbonate 450mg in one dose tonight before bed.
Avatar m tn I've had chronic, severe nausea for the past year and I can't take it anymore. I get nauseated after everything I eat. It doesn't matter what. I can't even have breakfast anymore (I went from eating solids to drinking liquids, and now I can't eat anything at all). Sometimes I feel like I'm not even hungry, and other times I feel horribly hungry. I can only have small meals now and I can't have dairy or bread.
Avatar m tn PPI's (eg: nexium, prilosec) should be taken for up to 14 days, 3 times a year - FDA warning - March 2010. Good reason for this statement. You need stomach acid to absorb essential nutrients and kill off bacteria, fungi and parasites. Low stomach acid leads to fractures, bacterial/fungal infections, parasites, lowered immune system, systematic health decline, gastritis, stomach cancer, heart failure....
Avatar n tn * Good levels of stomach acid (HCI): B12 must first be separated from the protein that binds it. This requires HCI. Low stomach acid is common as this lowers with age. Reflux is a common symptom of low stomach acid * Intrinsic factor (IF): B12 cannot pass through the intestinal wall and into the bloodstream without IF. * Good bacteria in the gut: an imbalance in the beneficial bacteria of the digestive system can separate B12 from IF.
Avatar f tn Anyway, there are lots of options - ranging from a number of medications that have been well studied such as nefazodone, mirtazapine, and the tricyclic antidepressants, to supplements that seem to be effective (although probably somewhat less so) such as hypericum and s-adenosyl methionine. Finally there are a number of medications that are not routinely prescribed for depression that might be of use, and that list is a bit long to put here. In any event, the answer is yes.
Avatar f tn Digestive enzyme supplements are good for high or low acid production (low acid is by far more common). Betaine HCI with pepsin supplements help with stomach acid production. You can find both these supplements at health food stores. Apple cider vinegar can be used in combination or as a substitute for HCI supplements.
Avatar f tn Is tylenol cold multi symptom ok to take ? It says Acetaminophen , phenylephrine HCI , dextromethorphan HBr its pain reliever fever reducer nasal decongestant cough suppressant .
Avatar f tn insufficient stomach acid is the most common cause of acid reflux conditions! She stopped the PPI nexium, started betaine HCI with pepsin supplements (to help with low stomach acid) and digestive enzyme supplements and her severe GERD and LPR were gone; suffered both severely for 5 years. After a year and a half, her stomach is "retrained" with the betaine HCI to help produce its own acid. She only needs digestive enzymes now with meals.
Avatar f tn I'm seriously addicted to Diphenhydramine (in Benadryl, etc.). Is anyone here addicted to this stuff that seems to be NOT addictive to everyone else but me? I finally found a place on the internet that talks about being addicted to Diphenhydramine HCI Like I am. I saw a member's (Unisom) posts here from a few years ago ...I had to write him and anyone who may be on here reading this.
Avatar n tn It has acetaminophen, phenylephrine HCI, dextromethorphan HBr, pain reliever/fever reducer, nasal decongestant, cough suppressant. Any bad?
Avatar f tn The doctor said i need to take a medicine metformin HCI.. but i did not follow my doctor. im afraid because if i take a medicine every day my liver or kidney maybe it will weak someday. So know i limit my foods a take every day specially sweets foods.
Avatar f tn My mother has severely low stomach acid and also has a hiatus hernia as well. Despite the hernia, taking digestive enzyme supplements and betaine HCI with pepsin supplements is a winner. No longer suffers GERD, LPR and 95% improved with gastritis. 25 years of drugs did a lot of damage and was almost fatal. 1 year of non drug treatment - priceless.
Avatar n tn currently im taking oxybutynine hci for overactive bladder since i had a ultra sound and they found nothing. btw im 20 yrs old healthy male but all these symptoms appeared after my sexual encounter.. it should be a std right? how could my sexual encounter with this person cause me overactive bladder?
1432927 tn?1283546704 There are many choices for anxiety and it takes trial and error to get the right combo. I suggest Nefazodone (Serzone) in a light dose at first, ramp to 150mg BID, Serzone doesn't have any any of the side effects of Paxil. There are known liver side effects for Serzone though and must be carefully considered with current liver function + follow liver functions while on it.
1137259 tn?1260702350 s stomach acid was severely low. She increased her stomach acid with betaine HCI with pepsin supplements (Nature's Own Protein Digestive Aid), helped her digestion with digestive enzymes (currently taking metagenics vegetarian digestive enzymes) and within weeks the GERD, LPR had resolved and over a year later 95% improved with gastritis. She also had a hiatus hernia interestingly enough with no problems.
Avatar m tn Also, I take a syrup for common cold and influenza (dosage teaspoonful 5ml which contains 160mg paracetamol, 1mg chlorpheniramine maleate, 15mg pseudoephedrine HCI, and 4.5mg dextromethorphan HBr). I'm going into some special urgent medical examination for a new job: 1- Liver test (Hepatitis B and C) 2- General blood test (Biochemical analysis) 3- Urine test Would my antibiotic (augmentin 1g) and the above medication affect the results of the above tests?
Avatar f tn The interaction has also been reported in patients receiving atorvastatin, lovastatin, or simvastatin with other potent CYP450 3A4 inhibitors such as azole antifungal agents, macrolide antibiotics, HIV protease inhibitors, and nefazodone. Clinically, high levels of HMG-CoA reductase inhibitory activity in plasma may be associated with an increased risk of musculoskeletal toxicity.
