Avatar m tn Hi...sorry u r having issues....yes, I did have a stiff neck and using heat and then doing the neck exercises help with this.....I had a very pliable wrap that goes in the microwave that I could wrap around my neck and no more then 15 mins then I would do the exercises my Dr gave me, then 15 more mins of heat....this helps the muscles from getting tight which can cause HA's.
Avatar n tn I would suggest you to do some neck exercises every day, maintain a good posture while sitting and make sure your head and neck are well supported when lying down. Other possibilities like cervical spine stenosis, disc herniation or prolapse also need to be ruled out. I would suggest you to get a clinical exam done if the pain persists even after correcting the posture because then the possibility of sinusitis and neuralgias also should be looked into.
Avatar f tn I had a nerve block in Oct 2016 and first round of botox shots 2016 and a round of Xeonim on Feb 2017. I still get headaches. Now my neck is hurting terribly. I was told the muscle on my right side did not heal well. Both my inner ears and jaw line are in pain as well. Not wanting to swallow or eat much. is this all related to the surgery? I need neck relief badly. I get shots of pain and stiffens up. This is miserable.

Avatar f tn I went to the doctors many times and they just told me to take pain killers and see how it goes but they did nothing. He also said I had post viral fatigue and that I would feel better soon but I didnt. I then started getting these random sharp pains that felt like they were coming from the bones, they only lasted a few minutes or seconds at a time and moving didn't seem to affect the pain but I got them atleast 20-30 times a day.
Avatar f tn "Tension headaches can also be accompanied by ocular migraines causing such neurological symptoms" I am so relieved to read the above...I thought I was going crazy. I have had a headache for 2 1/2 weeks now and it started as a tension headache with a lot of neck pain and now I am having eye pain, blurred vision, flashy vision, one small gray spot in my vision, pain in temple, dizziness. The only thing that is constant is the blurred vision.
Avatar m tn Not sure y he would be off pain meds so soon.....or y he is not doing ne exercises...the neck exercises help prevent the muscles in the neck from getting tight and causing more pain and they also aid in preventing scar tissue from forming..... I am sure the video games r not helping....but again, does his position affect how he feels?
