It is 10 weeks since I had a revision of a neck lift originally done 7 months ago along with a
chin implant. I had long thick vertical cords from
chin to
neck, and my PS told me it was scar tissue. During the revision, he removed the cords, resmoothed my neck and cut the platysma this time. The PS said the cords were actually a hypergranulation which formed in the dermis of my neck skin, most likely to help attached the skin to the muscle. I am athletic and do not have much body fat.
