Stiff <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>neck</span>, pain around the c7 vertebrae. 2.) Muscle pain that feels like bee stings around the upper and lower trap on both sides. SOmetimes right around the shoulder blade. 3.) Should joints feel loose. 4.) IF I am sitting on the couch and I put my arm up(say raise it) I get pins and needles very quick... 5.) my neck pops all the time. say move my head ever so slight, there is a pop.. pop.

I was waking up this morning and stretching laying down and I felt and heard this loud crunching pop sound in my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>neck</span>. Now my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>neck</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span></span> back around my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> are really stiff <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span></span> it hurts to turn my head in any direction but I can manage well enough to reach for things. it's a constant soreness/pain but hurts anytime I move. Is this something I need to go to the hospital for? Should I just relax and message it or would heat help?
For about 2 months now, my father, who is 52 has been having extreme <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>neck</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span></span> head pain, with loud popping noise in his neck as well. Never have I seen some one in so much pain. He did have an x-ray and it showed deteriation in his neck, a form of arthritis, however no medication he takes seems to help the pain, or the extreme popping noise. Any thoughts?

Dr i have been bearing severe pain in left <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> along with <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>neck</span> going to below the left ear.i am very worried what exactly it can be.if it's a symptom of spondilytis?

The pain in the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span></span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>neck</span> can originate either in the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>neck</span> or in the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span>. neck pathology has been ruled out more or less. However injury or inflammation of facet joints of the neck too can cause pain in the shoulder neck area. Similarly injury or inflammation of the shoulder joint, its synovial membrane or rotator cough too can cause a similar pain. Do consult an orthopedic specialist. Hope this helps. .
Hi all for the last few days I have neck and shoulder pain the shoulders hurt a little more <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span></span> the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>neck</span> pain feels more like bone pain then muscular, also i have upper back pain btwn the shoulder blades like if i take a deep breath i can feel a popPING like in my back when it pops it doesnt hurt awfully bad but it is noticeable.
my PT thinks my shoulder is impinged and that I have cubital tunnel in my elbow. I have <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>neck</span> pain, mostly on the sides. my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>neck</span> cracks <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span></span> creaks when I turn it. my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> hurts on the front by my armpit, and the back just below my right shoulder blade. my shoulder pops and cracks when I move it up, and I have difficulty pushing in or out with my arm. my shoulder often feels stiff, like I need to crack it, and I try not to. it hurts to lift my arm over my head, or to lift heavy things.

Two weeks ago I woke up with the terrible pain in my left <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span></span> lower <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>neck</span>. I work out a lot and have been under unusual stress. Bed I was sleeping in was terrible. I went to ER fearing a heart attack. All clear on that account. Doc told me I had a pinched nerve or severe muscle strain. Got hydrocodone and it helped some. Went on a 5 day cruise thinking it would be relaxing. Got a very vigorous massage - very bad decision.

Within a week or so, I went back to the gym again and started off with my normal routine. my routine consisted of a lot of cycles, and there was virtually little to no rest. I would usually do something like calves or (prior to my trap injury) or shrugs or abs in between.
