For 1.5 years I've been experiencing pain on my left side...neck, then shoulder, then wrist, and now elbow and shoulder. Family Dr. tells me I probably have arthritis and tennis elbow. I am not athletic and can't think of what I might have done to cause this. However, shortly before all this started, I did get really sick with vomiting and diahhrea for over a week. I suspected food poison.
I have been wearing bite guard for last year and it got better but started hurting again this week really bad and having spasms in jaw and now my neck is killing me on the left side. Pain is going up the left side of neck and down left shoulder into arm. Have not had chance to go to doctor yet but am wondering if anyone with cervical disc problems has ever had it to affect temple and jaw area of face??? Am thinking maybe this isn't TMJ at all....
Hi.. I have neck/shoulder pain on my left side.. The pain becomes more when I push my chin on to my neck.. I have had several tests done, including several tests check if he heart is causing th pain - with doctors ruling out that being the cause..
Inhale also had CT and MRI scans done, with no cashed found by specialist doctors.. I am still left with no answers..
I have now had the pain for over 2 years..
The pain still continues..
I have had a sharp pain in my top back left shoulder, and it's shooting up my head on the left side, and it is very sharp.. It hurts pretty bad, and reply as soon as you can.
I cannot lay on the left side of my head or it wakes me up throbbing. I have had this for 9 YEARS. I have had 4 MRIs,xrays, been to headache clinic been to pain clinics. I have had 4 nerve blocks and numerous medicines. Seen 2 neurologists. I have arthiritis in my neck and can't lay on my shoulders I have to have shoulders below my pillow. I go to a rheumatologist but that doesn't help. I'm all out of ideals and tied of pain every night.
When I look all the way up, if I support the back of my head there is no pain. The pain also go to my left shoulder now too but still mostly on my left neck. Please help and let me know what I can do to get rid of this pain. I can’t really go out for treatment now since the covid 19 thing. Ps. There is no pain if i keep my head straight. Thank you in advance for all your help, I am greatly appreciated.

i had pain before in ma left shoulder and a little below the chest in the left side,i went for an ECG but the reports were normal.After few months i had this excruciating pain in my left shoulder,neck and arm.my doctor gave me the pain killer but its ma second day after the pain occurred and i can still feel the pain when i do any moment in ma left hand.
I have had an MRI of my shoulder and x-ray of my wrist, and neck. (4 years ago) NO MRI OF SPINE, HEAD, NECK although the Dr has ordered an MRI of my neck this month. The bones and joints appear healthy,. nerve testing indicated my nerves were working ok (3 years ago) No tests have been done on my arteries and no bone scans. Physiotherapy and chiropractor..not intensive enough to make a difference. Deep tissue massage helps ease muscle pain and stretches also help to ease the pain.
What could be the cause of pain on the left side of neck going down my left shoulder into my inner arm and sometimes in my left hip? The pain can be felt the most when I move a certain way or reach to get something. At night time it is most bothersome, as it seems to be more painful. This pain started about three weeks ago and at the same time I started jogging, I am wondering if it has anything to do with it. But when I am jogging, I don't feel any symptoms at all.
Anyways, a few months ago I went to crack my neck to the left side, my palm under my chin and my other hand supporting the back of my head, I turned to the left, and cracked it, and immediately felt a SHARP shooting pain go down the left side of my neck towards the back of the neck into my upper left shoulder blade area. i a male 44 yr and i been having this pain on my left side of back under shoulder blade for some time and persisting, i had my heart and my Dr says it is OK, but pain still there, pain come when i move a certain way or they way i sit, and sort of radiate to my left shoulder, my Dr has now booked me for liver scan for signs of fatty liver the pain has been on for a while and i am worried, has anymore experienced the same symptoms before

3 weeks ago I work up with left shoulder pain esp. on the side and upper shoulder. The symptoms got worse and I had an X ray and MRI done of my shoulder. Everything checked out ok. a week later pain got worse and has radiated to my upper back and lower neck. Now I am having trouble lifting my left arm!! I can lift it if I use my right arm to assist but I cannot lift it on my own.Like I have no strength or something is wrong with my nerves???
I would think your neck nodes were swollen. Since you are sick, you may be lying in bed with more pillows and bending your neck wrong. It's just not unusual to have neck pain when you are sick, although a very stiff neck can be a sign of meningitis, so be sure you keep that in mind.

I have been experiencing chronic pain from my neck, left shoulder, and arm. Pain and numbness now goes down into my left leg and I experience strange tingling in my left foot. Periodically, I even feel some twitching and prickliness on the left side of my face. Many days I just cry from frustration. Over the years i have had innumerable PT visits, chiro, pilates, accupuncture, mri's, nerve conduction tests, etc.
m having shooting pain in neck , left shoulder, left hand and arm (my right side of hand has no pain). The pain start if i move, lift small objects thru my left hand. Doctors visits and exams refers to chiropractic treatment and massages. But, after trying many times they gave temp relif but the pain comes back again.
The x-ray looks good. Is it some thing to do with some nerve damage (or) bone wiere out at the shoulder? If so, what exam would identify any nerve waire out?
I also have pain in mine left side of foot and some time the pain in mine foot is high. i also have pain in mine left chest left side of shoulder.
Mine parrents have history of Cardiac problems and have stunt. Several time i went to cardiologist mine ECG, blood pressure, ETT Ecocardiogram and Cardiac Enzyme all fine. Mine Colestrol level is also ok. i walked daily and never feel any problem in walking whether it is halfy an hour or more.
i get stabbing pains in bicep, pain in tricep trying to lift 10-plus pounds. i have had tingling on back between shoulder and neck on left side. it hurts REAL BAD when they push on my shoulder. i have had 3 steroid shots, ibprofen for months, bio freeze, med rox, ice, heat, etc. the clicking doesn't happen all the time. i can't put my arm all the way back, it hurts like heck when dr tried bending it in certain positions. this is all on my left side, i am right handed.
