Plain natural yoghurt. Dunk a tampon (non aplicator kind) into the yoghurt, get a decent amount on there and insert then leave in for a hour or so. Dont put it too far up, its best to sit down while its in, watch tv or something and then remove...u will need to put a liner on after taking out. If its not gone by the next day, repeat. Ive never had to do this more than twice.

So, I'm in my first trimester and pregnancy is already making me experience the wonderful world of yeast infections. I went to the doctor to make sure it is indeed a yeast infection and it is. He didn't prescribe me anything because he said it's too early and to wait until the second trimester, but I've heard of natural remedies, such as the garlic clove in the vagina that cures yeast infections. Has anyone tried this during pregnancy? Is it safe?

If you have a yeast infection the doc told me that Monstat is good to use while pregnant but I would have it checked out by the doc 1st b/c that's what I thought I had 2 & it wasn't that. I had Bacterial Vaginouses. Don't ask what that is I have no clue. I get the weirdest things down below. I am always getting UTI's and I was tested positive for the Group B Strep too. Lucky me, right.
What is ok to take for a yeast infection? I don't go to the Dr. Til Tuesday. I heard the one time fluconazole pill cause birth defects. Don't know how true it is just wanna be safe. Also regular Greek yogurt it has to be cold once it dries up wash it off at least 3 times a day or insert it into your vagina wear a pad n it will bring down the yeast n wash up you may want to get a big bucket bc being pregnant you can continuously have yeast infections
Nope can't do that stuff no more while pregnant. Sounds like a yeast infection which is normal to get while pregnant u need to speak with ur Dr to get the cream and antibiotic that is safe for ur baby.
I too struggle with yeast infections while pregnant. Everytime I would have sex I'd get one too. It's like I'm allergic to my husband when I'm pregnant!! LOL!! I would always shower in the morning before work. And I would only use a feminine was wash by like Monistat or Massengil (I know I spelled that wrong) that is hypoallergenic. When I would get home from work, I would always take a bath. Nothing long.

Could be a yeast infection. Yogurt is good for yeast infections but if it's that bad, you need medication. I would call your Dr. Don't wait it will only get worse.
