Common Questions and Answers about Natural anti aging skin products

anti-aging

Avatar n tn Currently manufacturers of skin products have been trying to provide a wide array of skin care products to suit each skin type. For an individual to get the best skin care, one should follow a particular regimen of cleansing, toning , exfoliating and moisturizing. As one grows older however, exfoliation may damage the thinning skin. Cleansing and moisturizing are still essential as one ages. The use of sunscreen for the face is still a must.
Avatar f tn Natural vitamin E is proven to reverse the effects of skin aging. It is an excellent example of a natural antioxidant which is present in a lot of different face and body creams. Another is Vitamin A, or retinol. This is known for its ability to stimulate collagen and elastin fibres. These vitamins are available in a lot of dietary products and also can be taken as supplements. Dehydration can cause the skin to look like it's sagging and loose, hence drink lots of water.
Avatar f tn It is completely independent, I do have to leave the house for shows, but I make money for products sold, and for products sold by consultants underneath me, I enjoy setting my own schedule and because everyone needs face wash, moisturizers, lotions, and anti-aging skin care products business is never slow. I an out of my home for approx 9 hours a week and do another 3 hours of work in my home and I make over $400/week.
Avatar f tn What vitamins can I take to prevent aging? Exclusively the face and neck areas. If there is not a vitamin, can herbs help and what kind? Any Natural Preventions?
Avatar f tn Go to ulta and talk to their estheticians for a professional recommendation. While pregnant do stay away from retinols which are anti aging. They can cause birth defects. But look for something that has hyaluronic acid in it which is a natural chemical our body makes which helps retains moisture by 1000x its weight. So it is super hydrating which will help reduce and prevent wrinkles.
Avatar m tn I paid attention, that when I touch other person, my skin is not as sensitive as it used to be and I’m not getting as exited as in the past. Which is only natural. Nevertheless, is there any way to raze skin sensitivity and level of excitement?
Avatar n tn Looks like the make shampoos with essential oils and dead sea salts, very trendy and aimed at consumers who use these product on themselves (which is not wrong, jsut great marketing); I find it interesting that they list only the "active ingredients" of mud, salt and different oils on the website, that makes it easier to proclaim that they are all natural, but none of the "active ingredients" have any cleansing activity, so those ingredients appear to be kept a secret.
Avatar f tn I naturally have sensitive skin, but since I got towards the end of the 1st trimester, I've found that my forehead gets incredibly dry and flaky. Is this (dry skin) a symptom of pregnancy? What's the best product to use to moisturize super dry skin? Are there products (lotions and moisturizers) I should avoid while pregnant? First time mom at 11w+4, so I apologize if I seem naive.
Avatar n tn I have always had very clear skin (other than rare outbreaks of exzema) , I eat well and drink 2 litres of water a day. I have changed skin products to natural products with no perfume, chemicals etc, but no difference. I use to think the cause was my hair touching my face, by I pin that back now and still get them- not as bad though. I've seen the doctor and he has diagnosed it exzema and prescribed me hydrochotisone cream, which works ish but they soon return once I stop using it.
948202 tn?1245941816 I have not had any breakous for about 2 months since using clindamycin during the day, and sulfacetamide at night. Avatar f tn You can develop allergies to things that you've never been allergic to before. I suggest reading the forum discussing hair dyes. There are many horror stories about allergies to these hair dyes. There are many man-made chemicals that are so toxic in hair dyes. People were even talking about brands that you might associate with being less toxic or "natural" and what kinds of allergic reactions they have had to these products.
1481901 tn?1287727244 I heard somewhere to avoif anything that is anti aging (in regards to moisturizer and facial wash).
1064785 tn?1406638398 I do not know if there is anything specifically geared towards pregnancy- I am sure there is. I like the 'skin deep' section on the environemental working groups page. Please know it is kind of overly-cautious, but at least you can see why somethings are worse for you than others and what the ingredients are that shoud be avoided. Hope this helps! Congrats on your tww! Stick and grow baby!
Avatar n tn Eucerin for sensitive skin is OK. Dove soap is soy free. Be careful if you use anti-aging creams (I do and many contain soy), or moisturizers. read...read...read McDonalds has soy in everything!!! Wendys has some soy free choices. Both have the info on their websites. So do Pizza Hut, Dominos, Pepsi ... My local grocery store has allergy info available for their bakery products; maybe yours does too. I hope this helps.
Avatar f tn I am 60 and noticing my teeth are more transparent. There are products that advertise they will restore lost dentin. Anybody tried them?
Avatar f tn LOL, a woman never revels her age.....! ;p Just trying to help everyone out there with this HORRIBLE symptom and burden!! I have gone through so many so called 'miracle' products, till i got frustated! If anyone wants a review of any of the products 'anti-itching' i tested, please informe me! Avatar f tn I haven't heard of any of this anti-aging stuff with these two supplements. I use Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) to help with peripheral neuropathy. I noticed that it really does cut down on the amount of neuropathy I experience. When I did some online research for Acetyl L Carnitine and neuropathy, since it's also used. The difference is that it is recommended that people check with their doctors before using the Acetyl L Carnitine.
Avatar f tn As far as the Saccharmyces Boulardii I am not using it for an anti-parasite but as an anti-candida and it works wonders for that. This person has colitis and the Florastor works wonders on people with Colitis when there is yeast involved.
Avatar m tn Go for the ones that have a pH level like our skin. You may be fine with baby products. Use products that are suitable for people with allergies. Keep a written list of everything that you touch (include any contact with any plants), eat and drink, etc. to see if you notice when your symptoms get worse or better to see if you can find a pattern that may point you in the right direction to avoid contact with the "culprit" allergen.
