nasonex twice a day

I been having this noise in my ear..sounds like I'm holding a shell up to my ear and the ocean is there ..Plus I get echos or hear twice noise when people talking or the tv..the higher the pitch the louder it is in my left ear..I went to doc here and was told my ear was clean not red no wax etc..so he said doesn't know what it is for now..having me take nasonex a day for two week..no cold here not even a sinus headache..

What antihistamines have you used? It wasn't an antihistamine with a decongestant or Benadryl was it? Singulair can be used for Allergic Rhinitis like you have, however, this is usually prescribed for someone with Asthma issues secondary to Allergic Rhinitis. What nasal steroid are you using? Most of them can be used long term.

I will only take methylprednisolone 16 mg twice a day for 5 days only and momethasone/nasonex (500 mcg/g) two sprays a day for 1 month. I am worrying that it may affect my hiv test result in my 6th month? can they delay antibodies to show up or something? I don't know how long will those corticosteroid will stay in my body. But as you can see it is only for short term use. I wish to be enlightened. I wish to move on and start a new life.

My cardiologist had told me to do a "trial & error" to see. I think Nasonex only has antihistamine in it, which is good. There are some with decongestant and I know that can mess things up. I'm doing allergy shots once I am feeling better.

My allergist gave me a sample of Nasonex, which I used for about a week. Unfortunately, it did not help my symptoms and I had frequent nosebleeds. Maybe try the spray for another couple of days?

t tried yet, I tried the fenofexadine (allegra) 180mg a day, it works ok but I felt so tired the whole, even when I took it at bedtime and sometimes flushed for a few minutes where I felt as if I was having an allergic reaction. I was on it for a month taking it twice a day and my back and muscles hurt so much, I felt drowsy all day. Allergic asthma is difficult.

I was on nasonex spray prn or I take 1 puff each nose at times for few years= 4 years. Now I noticed hair thinning and loss. I have stopped the nasonex now. Will my hair grow back as usual? I am so worried. Iam not taking any other medication. But on hair supplements- zinc, vitamin E and multivitamin. Started my hair massage!

Each a simple nasal spray once a day. The fact that I asked about the other drugs doesn't mean I was taking them--I simply wanted information. The interaction between the 2 inhalants was the core of my question. Thanks. That aside, the congestion is beginning to clear out, so this is moot.

Hi...I have never heard of that med, but in research see it is used for reflux and gerd jut like the meds I am aware of. The dr will RX meds for the mgs and dosage ( times per day) per ur symptoms and how much healing u need.....I am on a gerd med and take it twice a day..... If u also modify ur diet and lifestyle u may heal a bit faster and be able to cut back on teh dosage faster.

The pressure sensation could be due to sinusitis, nasal polyps, nasal congestion, internal ear problem or due to temporal arteritis. Take steam twice a day and see if the pressure is relieved. If it is then it could be due to sinusitis. Sometimes an Eustachian tube (tube connecting ear to throat) block can cause these pressure symptoms. Try valsalva maneuver (take a deep breath and blow while pinching your nostrils shut and closing your mouth). Hope these tips help.

Nose specialist prescribed him with Nasonex 2x spray per day, Ceflour antibiotic, Anpro Loratadine, and Roximeth. But i worry about the STeroid effect to my son. . So i stop after taken 1 tablet of Roximeth after i found out this is steroid. Please advise any side effect if my son stop this Roximeth after 1 tablet ? I noticed that at first my ringing was real low but then all of the sudden as soon I took the nasonex my ear ringing got a lot louder out nowhere and it also kind of started in the other a little bit then that went away. I have also been on a regimen of Nasonex and other sorts of nasal sprays that you need a prescription for. Once again, I saw temporary relief only to have the symptoms return. This summer (and now September) of 2008 has been really bad. (I lived in Japan from July 2006 to May 2008, and for some reason I had few allergic symptoms there). I am, like ever, waking up in the middle of the night unable to breathe because my nose gets congested. I blow my nose, but nothing gets drained.
