nasonex throat

t even get to the end of the complaints on the internet about nose bleeds from nasonex! Well, my nose bleeds started with nasonex, the first time around was in the '90's, and no one seemed to know then that the nose bleeds were a side effect, although I kept having them and realized then that they occurred after using nasonex. Later, around 2007, I was told by a doctor, that it wouldn't be a bad idea to try it again, that it was actually a good drug.

stuffy nose, followed by a sore throat (when swallowing). No temperature, headache or cough. The only thing I used before seeing doc was Afrin, Advil and some Zicam. Went to the doc, and she said it was a virus. She prescribed Nasonex, Astepro, and the usual "stay away from afrin" advice. My questions: 1) She prescribed switching off between Nasonex and Astepro--taking a dose of each on alternating days. Is this common?

think I must be going crazy. After having throat/ear issues for over a month, I went to the doctor 10 days ago. He said I had a ton of fluid behind my ears and there was inflammation. He also said that my right ear drum looked really dull. He thinks my issues are being caused by a sinus infection. I've been taking Nasonex and antibiotics for 11 days and am still having problems. Here is where I think it gets weird. My ear bothers me when I go outside even for just a few minutes.

I just started using Nasonex (steroid nasal spray), and it really helps my allergies and sinus headache, and eye-related sinus problems. But I also have PVCs and my heart pounds a lot (can feel it in my head, back, etc). I'm wondering whether Nasonex is safe to take long term if I have these heart issues. Doctor just shrugged his shoulders when I asked. Anyone know?

Not saying you have this....but I had a sore throat for 2 years and saw 2 hospitals and 3 doctors til the Ear Nose and Throat doc. Turns out he slid a little tube w/ camera down my throat (took just 2 min)and it was a burned up vocal chord from reflux! Now take med and it's GONE!

t fragrance-free and I could taste that one going down the back of my throat through the nasal passages connecting to the throat. That affected me negatively in other ways, too. I'm glad my doctor changed my prescription to Nasonex.

they found nothing but a little allergy reaction to something. the ear nose throat doctor was the one who put him on the nasonex, every thing else checked out with him too.i didnt think it was meningitis becouse my family doctor checked his glands and neck stiffness.i do know that he did have the fungas on his scalp but i wasnt sure about all the other problems if they could be related to that also.

Went to a doctor today..I have a noise in my left ear sounds like listening to a sea shell and I hear echos listening to people talk or the tv.. he said ear was clean and gave me for two weeks Nasonex said if don't work come back..I don't have a cold nose isn't backup no sinus pain or head ache..is this normal to give allergy meds for ear problems ??

sore throat,Vomiting,Painful menstrual cramps,Sinus infections,Viral infections,Coughing ,Nosebleeds,Joint pain,Bronchitis,Chest pain, ...etc ! to be honest with you anxiety and depression are not related , ask your doctor maybe you will take ,antidepressants again.

I am having pretty much the same problem. I have had such severe headaches these past few months, not to mention watery right eye, cracking in my ears and can only sleep on one side because ear popping is so bad on the other side,I finally made an appointment with the ear, nose & throat doctor, who has placed me on Nasonex. I took my first spray today and it actually helped. It seems to be waring off now though. Guess time will tell.

My Left ear and the left side of my throat has been hurting over the past few weeks. At time my ear iches, and my throat is sore when I swallow. I have not had a feaver, nor do I feel sick just this pain. Do you think it is more likley that I have an allergy to something, or do you think I have a virus. Do you know of any at home remidies to help sooth the pain?

But my question is should I go back to taking the nasonex? Was it a good thing that the nasonex made it louder because maybe it was just cleaning my ear out from the fluid, since it stopped ringing completely later that night which it hasnt done all week. But I dont know because it was a lot more irritating that night then ever! When I got out of the hot shower. I'm starting to think maybe the hot shower could be whats really irritating it more.

Recently I went to an eye, ear, nose specialist who prescribed Nasonex. Anyone have any success with it? I say that because I tried it now for two days with no effect. Do I need to try it longer? Anyone?

I was on nasonex spray prn or I take 1 puff each nose at times for few years= 4 years. Now I noticed hair thinning and loss. I have stopped the nasonex now. Will my hair grow back as usual? I am so worried. Iam not taking any other medication. But on hair supplements- zinc, vitamin E and multivitamin. Started my hair massage!

For over a month I had been having some slight issues with my throat being irritated and my ears aching a bit. Sometimes when I would chew food I would get pain in my right ear and even my right eye would ache. Also, the right side of my throat feels a tad bit swollen. If you look at my throat it looks red and irritated. I had what I guess was a tonsil stone come out a few weeks ago.

The reflux symptoms now including feeling a lump in my throat, constant throat clearing, feeling of mucus in the throat, even spasms/feeling of choking intermittently. Plus more the standard reflux experience of regurgitation into the throat, sore throat etc and even nausea. Never any heartburn though. Have been on nexium 40mg one course, but then a second course a few weeks later, which has more or less just started.

My main concern is the phlegm/mucous in my throat. I take nasonex and prilosec (for suspected GERD) but nothing seems to help. ANy suggestions on what this could be or what I can do?

I have a 17 year old son for 10 months has been feeling sharp and burning chest pain. In the last 3 months he's been feeling like food is getting stuck in his throat and acid coming up.He recently underwent an endoscopy an was told he has minor damages to the esophagus. Hello, I have been taking Nasonex for 5 months now and starting 10 days ago, I started experiencing weird sensation in the left area of my chest, it would only happen 3 to 6 times a day and it would feel like someone just tapped the someone of my chest with a finger or two, after 3 or 4 days experiencing this, I just completly stopped using Nasonex and have been off Nasonex for 5 days and 11 hours now.

I am 5 weeks post covid with symptoms of a possible ear nose and throat infection which will not go away after 2 courses of amoxycillin and now augmentin 625 mg and nasonex spray .

I have had the lump like feeling in my throat for almost 3 weeks, been on Nasonex spray for 2 weeks. Now on antibiotics for the last 6 days. Still have lump feeling in throat, tightness in neck and throat, occasional ear pain. Any thoughts? Had allergy testing done last year and no allergies. Dr said there was heavy post nasal drip. Wouldn't this be clearing by now? Also under a tremendous amount of stress with a sick parent and a daughter who is in remission.

Ever since I got my wisdom teeth taken out over a year ago, I've been getting a strange taste/smell in my throat and nose. It's not constant, but after I've had a bit of a cold or something it gets worse. It's mostly in my nose currently, and whenever I sniff I can smell it. - I say it like that because I have had the scratch test and injections and did not show to have any seasonal allergies. However, with my sore throat I have a lot of post nasal drip (possible cause of sore throat?). I take a combo of ibuphrophen, tylenol, and musinex to manage the pain. I have these painful red lumps in the left side of my throat. When I swallow it feels like a popcorn kernel is stuck there. The pain goes up into my ear. I have been having foamy, white saliva along with thick, clear, stringy mucus that only comes up when I clear my throat, which I have to do all day, constantly. I still have some burping issues, not as chronic, though. I feel like air that comes up gets stuck in my throat and I have to stretch my neck to get it out.

Drainage in back of throat for 4 months and throwing up. Had four shots, I have taken these meds.
