Avatar f tn So could this be the side effects of Nasonex after a month later and I still need to wait a bit longer or is this something I should continue to look into? It's really affecting my life.

Avatar n tn He started out on 25 mg with no side effects. Two weeks after he increased to 50 mg he began a headache - meaning it has not stopped. Here we are, going on week three of a headache. However, my son has been on other medications for sinisitis and bronchitis that could account for a headache. He now off of pulmicort, xopenex and nasonex. He is currently going through allergy testing as well. It is very difficult for me to try to determine the cause of the headache with so much going on with him.
Avatar n tn I started having a really clogged up ear almost 2 weeks ago. Then that ear started ringing (tinnitus) I guess is what they call it...the doctor first prescribed me on amoxicillin antibiotic. That didnt really do anything.
163305 tn?1333668571 I just thought we all might take a little time out from our frets, our side effects, tx, and remember what a trick and treat life can be. Nothing makes me smile like a little kid in a costume. Happy Halloween everybody!
Avatar m tn I was diagnosed with Acute Sinusitis when I was 4 months old. I have tried pretty much everything and Nasonex was the best result I've had. No side affects, no taste, no drowsiness. And yet it's jumped to over $300/bottle. I lost my job due to lung conditions (never smoked) and lost everything I had. Went through bankruptcy and am on Medicaid. They refuse to cover it because it's so expensive.
Avatar n tn I have used Afrin for colds my entire life, and have *always* managed to stop using it within a week or so, avoiding the dreaded "addiction" people speak about. Will the Nasonex/Astepro help me to drop the afrin faster? Thanks for your time!
Avatar n tn Hello my son has be having constant nose bleeds for about two years now i have taken him to the doctor twice and they have subscribed nasonex when nasonex side effects were nose bleeds what should i do?
Avatar f tn A few months ago I started using Nasonex every day because of allergies. Shortly after my heart started acting up, I was getting short bursts of tachycardia lasting no more than 30 seconds, but disconcerting never the less. That hadn't happened to me for several years, since my medications were switched. My GP told me that Nasonex wouldn't do that but I stopped using it anyway. I had an appt with my EP today and I asked about it.
548980 tn?1214822412 I spoke to my family physician after doing some of my own reading and determined that the Nasonex which is a corticosteroid may be causing side effects of anxiety and low mood. I immediately went off the Nasonex and saw a quick improvement in the level of my anxiety, however have still not felt quite myself since. I found many reviews online of others having similar scary side effects after using ?Nasonex.
29837 tn?1414534648 My allergist gave me a sample of Nasonex, which I used for about a week. Unfortunately, it did not help my symptoms and I had frequent nosebleeds. Maybe try the spray for another couple of days?
538745 tn?1213755988 Nope no congested nose or sinus problems at all.. I had this problem for about 4 weeks now ..and the GP I'm seeing here put me on Nasonex he said could be in my sinus since he look into my ears and they were clean. I'm 53 years old .no ringing . but hear people talk again like a echo..plus the sound of putting a sea shell up to my hear..I learn to put the tv on really loud .than doesn't bug me as much..
1402935 tn?1281958699 It will reduce the inflammation and thin the mucus, with no side effects. The first couple of days take 1000 mg. For me it works like a charm. In fact I had been on those dangerous inhaled steroids (like symbocort) and the B5 worked much, much better.
Avatar f tn I wake up every morning with what feels like lots of phelgm in my throat, and since I sleep on my right side, there is some fluid that seems to build up in my right ear. Nothing ever comes out of my ear but when I lift my ear off the pillow there is a suctioning sound, and when I wiggle my finger in there I hear stuff. I also get a flutter felling in my ear sometimes. Whew...........My main concern is the phlegm/mucous in my throat.

Avatar n tn I have a three year old nephew and this morning he decided to push really hard on the side on my stomach. Could this have caused anything bad to happen I'm only 6weeks so I'm scared it could've caused damage. Is that possible or am I over thinking it?
Avatar f tn but many experts worry that they are taking far too great a risk with toddlers--not just because of potential side effects (nervousness and insomnia are the most common with Ritalin) but because there is no data on how psycho-tropic drugs affect long-term brain development. "The period between birth and 4 is a time of tremendous change in the maturation of the brain," says Dr. Joseph Coyle, chair of Harvard Medical School's department of psychiatry.
Avatar n tn Nose specialist prescribed him with Nasonex 2x spray per day, Ceflour antibiotic, Anpro Loratadine, and Roximeth. But i worry about the STeroid effect to my son. . Avatar m tn My name is Kimberly, I am 40 years old. About 7 years ago I was treated with Nasonex in conjunction with a cpap machine for my sleep apnea. After that every time I bent over water would pour out of one side of nose. At first I thought it was blood, but it was the exact consitency of water. I stooped using the nasonex and the cpap ueats ago. This has happened off and on for years.About 6 months ago I noticed the drip was back, as well as occasional water out of my ears.
Avatar n tn his sores in his mouth and his scalp seem to be better but now he is complaining off a headach again.maybe a side affect from taking him off the nasonex??? he seems very nervous all the time so i thought that could be do to the nasonex also. please let me know what you think. take care.
Avatar n tn ) - is a surgical incision of the vas deferens… (not sure if you actually heard it!..), however as a huge worrier of getting the possible long-life side effects from it, I have to believe and rely on that there is still could be one but an effective nasal remedy against this symptom, thus to undergo this risky and unpredictable surgery could be unnecessary!
Avatar n tn I wake up and my eyes seem closer to my nose and there is fluid build up in the ethmoid sinus area. The problem gets worse when i lift weights and when i barely sleep. I tried reducing sodium intake and this did not work. Diuretics did not work. Only two things over the past year and a half have somewhat worked. I tried using Nasonex and it worked great for about 4 days. The fluid seemed to drain out and my nasal bridge narrowed.
Avatar f tn Some parents have to do it as a last resort. This is just my personal opinion. All medicines have side effects and some of the drugs for those with ADHD and Autism can cause other long term damage. Your child is very young and is still developing. I would not want to medicate my child so that they were easier to handle in school for example.
