He started out on 25 mg with no side effects. Two weeks after he increased to 50 mg he began a headache - meaning it has not stopped. Here we are, going on week three of a headache. However, my son has been on other medications for sinisitis and bronchitis that could account for a headache. He now off of pulmicort, xopenex and nasonex. He is currently going through allergy testing as well. It is very difficult for me to try to determine the cause of the headache with so much going on with him.

sore throat,Vomiting,Painful menstrual cramps,Sinus infections,Viral infections,Coughing ,Nosebleeds,Joint pain,Bronchitis,Chest pain, ...etc ! to be honest with you anxiety and depression are not related , ask your doctor maybe you will take ,antidepressants again.

So could this be the side effects of Nasonex after a month later and I still need to wait a bit longer or is this something I should continue to look into? It's really affecting my life.

Celexa is a more preferred drug for OCD at a low dose for children. This drug seems to work the best with the fewest side effects. If you don't mind what type of OCD subject is it?

I started having a really clogged up ear almost 2 weeks ago. Then that ear started ringing (tinnitus) I guess is what they call it...the doctor first prescribed me on amoxicillin antibiotic. That didnt really do anything.

m not sure if Zofran is used in children but you could ask. Tetrabenzene is used but that has some serious side effects so that might not be for children either. But there are other medications as well. Clonidine in patch form (Catapres) is especially helpful for tic like motions (tardive tourreticism which is a variant of tardive dyskinesia I have as well). I am on Tenex which is helpful as well. I believe both of those are used in children.

I was diagnosed with Acute Sinusitis when I was 4 months old. I have tried pretty much everything and Nasonex was the best result I've had. No side affects, no taste, no drowsiness. And yet it's jumped to over $300/bottle. I lost my job due to lung conditions (never smoked) and lost everything I had. Went through bankruptcy and am on Medicaid. Hello my son has be having constant nose bleeds for about two years now i have taken him to the doctor twice and they have subscribed nasonex when nasonex side effects were nose bleeds what should i do?

Litium did give me a hyperactive thyroid condition. The med I was given for that has a side effect of osteoporosis in the lumbar in long term use (Synthroid). I ended up with litium toxicity a few years back because diuretics will cause that. As you know caffine is a diuretic (soft drinks) - which most kiddo's I know tend to drink. I would not allow litium to be given to my child; not going through what I have with it. I have a son who is ADHD.

A few months ago I started using Nasonex every day because of allergies. Shortly after my heart started acting up, I was getting short bursts of tachycardia lasting no more than 30 seconds, but disconcerting never the less. That hadn't happened to me for several years, since my medications were switched. My GP told me that Nasonex wouldn't do that but I stopped using it anyway. When I mentioned that these side effects were listed on their web site they said the were just reporting side effects that people called in with. I thought that was really irresponsible!!! Nope no congested nose or sinus problems at all.. I had this problem for about 4 weeks now ..and the GP I'm seeing here put me on Nasonex he said could be in my sinus since he look into my ears and they were clean. I wake up every morning with what feels like lots of phelgm in my throat, and since I sleep on my right side, there is some fluid that seems to build up in my right ear. Nothing ever comes out of my ear but when I lift my ear off the pillow there is a suctioning sound, and when I wiggle my finger in there I hear stuff. I also get a flutter felling in my ear sometimes. Whew...........My main concern is the phlegm/mucous in my throat.

I'm more worried about the hair thinning right now. I've seen posts about people thinking their hair thinning is a result of the medication. The side effects I've found is a long list and hair thinning has been mentioned. I'm scared to death and beginning to panic about it.
