Definitely tell you doctor ASAP. Side effects are so varied with each drug and effects each individual differently. All I can say is that I went on ADD medicine and had lots of side-effects and they passed within a few weeks to a month or so. Again, it might take longer for others. You could consider switching to another medicine.

to be honest with you anxiety and depression are not related , ask your doctor maybe you will take ,antidepressants again.
Common side effects of Nasonex are fatigue, headaches, a lowered immune system (not good) and others too. A few people I know who have used this for a year or more mentioned that they got palpitations, and one friend said his PVCs increased. But one can't be sure whether the PVCs increased because of the Nasonex. I already have quite a few PVCs a day and don't need more.
I'm hoping some of you have tried Nasonex (or Flonase, which is similar).
I have had the lump like feeling in my throat for almost 3 weeks, been on Nasonex spray for 2 weeks. Now on antibiotics for the last 6 days. Still have lump feeling in throat, tightness in neck and throat, occasional ear pain. Any thoughts? Had allergy testing done last year and no allergies. Dr said there was heavy post nasal drip. Wouldn't this be clearing by now? Also under a tremendous amount of stress with a sick parent and a daughter who is in remission.
He started out on 25 mg with no side effects. Two weeks after he increased to 50 mg he began a headache - meaning it has not stopped. Here we are, going on week three of a headache. However, my son has been on other medications for sinisitis and bronchitis that could account for a headache. He now off of pulmicort, xopenex and nasonex. He is currently going through allergy testing as well. It is very difficult for me to try to determine the cause of the headache with so much going on with him.

I have been taking Nasonex for 5 months now and starting 10 days ago, I started experiencing weird sensation in the left area of my chest, it would only happen 3 to 6 times a day and it would feel like someone just tapped the someone of my chest with a finger or two, after 3 or 4 days experiencing this, I just completly stopped using Nasonex and have been off Nasonex for 5 days and 11 hours now.
There are a number of medications that might be used instead and you and your doctor need to make sure that your son is on the medication and dose that is providing the maximal benefits with minimal side effects. If you aren’t happy with the effects, address your concerns with your doctor and try a different dose or a different medication.
I would also recommend that you look into behavioral treatment for your son as well.
I was diagnosed with Acute Sinusitis when I was 4 months old. I have tried pretty much everything and Nasonex was the best result I've had. No side affects, no taste, no drowsiness. And yet it's jumped to over $300/bottle. I lost my job due to lung conditions (never smoked) and lost everything I had. Went through bankruptcy and am on Medicaid. A few months ago I started using Nasonex every day because of allergies. Shortly after my heart started acting up, I was getting short bursts of tachycardia lasting no more than 30 seconds, but disconcerting never the less. I was on nasonex spray prn or I take 1 puff each nose at times for few years= 4 years. Now I noticed hair thinning and loss. I have stopped the nasonex now. Will my hair grow back as usual? I am so worried. Iam not taking any other medication. But on hair supplements- zinc, vitamin E and multivitamin. Started my hair massage!

Because of the way Strattera works, it takes 2 to 4 weeks for it to become effective. Typically, if you are getting side effects, it may be because your dose of Strattera is too high. This is something that you need to discuss with your doc.
Any reason you went with Strattera instead of a Methylphenidate type of stim medication?
No, I would not try klonopin in the morning. Something like Tenex might be helpful. Tenex, "Can be given 2 or 3 times/day.

Strattera also does help some people, but many get some pretty wicked side effects from it - myself included.
All in all, finding an ADD med that works for you is a matter of trial and error by you and your doctor. Sometimes the first thing works great, and sometimes you have to try a few meds and tweak the dosage before you get the best results with the least side effects. But once you do, it's a big help.
