Avatar n tn ) - is a surgical incision of the vas deferens… (not sure if you actually heard it!..), however as a huge worrier of getting the possible long-life side effects from it, I have to believe and rely on that there is still could be one but an effective nasal remedy against this symptom, thus to undergo this risky and unpredictable surgery could be unnecessary!
Avatar f tn Before I could get to the allergist, I needed to go see a new doctor for my hypertension. He looked at my list of medications and for one (cymbalta), one of the side effects is URI. Wow, maybe that's been the problem all along! Starting to wean off the cymbalta and we'll see if that does the trick.

Avatar n tn It is an herb that is both anti-inflammatory and drying. There are no side effects. My daughter had a relatively similar problem and this herb helped enormously.
Avatar n tn Since October - Flovent for asthma has stopped his cough which was excercise induced - Also runny nose caused the coughing. Started on Rhinochort in October-went to Nasonex, it worked better. Tried to discontinue medications in Feb and he had immediate symptoms again - returned to it. For the most part, both medications have resolved his symptoms. I did notice over the last year he has been moodier/yells at us/crys over little things - but attributed to his age.
Avatar f tn It probably is. I get something like that, too. I sometimes have so much drainage that I have to take oral antihistamine, too. I hate it, because the oral antihistamine is so sedating.
Avatar m tn Thanks Randinator (had to call you that cause my daughter is Randi and I always called her that).I never had any side effects with the sovaldi-olysio so I guess they spoiled me.I will follow your advice.Just wanted to be sure It was the Harvoni and not the dreaded flu.Thank you and everyone else for the advice.I hope everyone gets rid of this blasted disease and lives happily ever after.
Avatar n tn The cough cleared up for the most part, as did the wheeze, but the meds had serious side effects – I stopped the Levaquin after 8 doses, because it was making me depressed and exhausted, which I still am. I am also still coughing a bit (producing a little mucus), and feel short of breath, but my lung function is at 92% and I have optimal peak flow (475). I’ve cut back my meds to 220mg flovent twice a day, and albuterol when necessary. 1.
Avatar n tn I have just read about many other people being afflicted with this Chronic cough, eyes watering, nose dripping, stress incontinence, coughing, coughing, excess mucous, choking, can't catch my breath, sometimes I vomit because I'm coughing so violently, oh and I beltch so long and loud, everyone around me is disgusted. Like some of you it is truly beginning to affect my ability to work and live. I work in the Corporate World and it is really impacting me severely.
Avatar f tn I have taken prednisone many other times, with no adverse side effects. I went to the doctor yesterday with the following symptomps; even though I knew that I was getting enough air, I felt that I could not get a good breath and my throat felt very tight and jaw just clenched open while I was gasping for breath. I also felt very anxious. I never experienced this before. Boy it was scary.
531684 tn?1216745984 t even get to the end of the complaints on the internet about nose bleeds from nasonex! Well, my nose bleeds started with nasonex, the first time around was in the '90's, and no one seemed to know then that the nose bleeds were a side effect, although I kept having them and realized then that they occurred after using nasonex. Later, around 2007, I was told by a doctor, that it wouldn't be a bad idea to try it again, that it was actually a good drug.
Avatar m tn Last night, when my son cough so much. And I was so deperate; I gave him my Nasonex 1 buff in each nostril and he stop coughing in about 5 mins. It's mirracle to me. However, I just learn this home remedies last week and I want to share with you to try and see if it works. I tried it on me 3 nights ago and I did not have post nasal drop last 2 nights and no day neezing. For aldult: 2 red radish crushed + 1or 2 teaspoon honey + half yellow lemon. Stir up and eat.
Avatar f tn I have also gotten Covid for about 1 month and 1 week and am still experiencing weird side effects like elevated heart rate and a tickle in my throat cough. Had a lot of diarrhea due to it too. Honestly, not all doctors are well informed on long covid and how to treat it. I've gone to my primary doctor twice already and was not 100% and I don't expect to be 100% not for at least 3 months.
Avatar f tn The chronic cough and shortness of breath are common side effects of Inf/Riba. You might talk to your doctor about taking an antihistamine to reduce the post nasal drip and cough reflex. I take claritin which helps this. Also, I see you're able to post under your original name so good to see you got your posting problems worked out. http://hepatitiscnewdrugs.blogspot.com/2010/10/chronic-coughpegylated.
Avatar n tn Common side effects of Nasonex are fatigue, headaches, a lowered immune system (not good) and others too. A few people I know who have used this for a year or more mentioned that they got palpitations, and one friend said his PVCs increased. But one can't be sure whether the PVCs increased because of the Nasonex. I already have quite a few PVCs a day and don't need more. I'm hoping some of you have tried Nasonex (or Flonase, which is similar).
Avatar f tn My son was diognosed with mild to moderate tracheomalacia. He is on Nasonex and Zyrtec to control post nasal drip and use Atravent as needed to help minimize cough. He has just come off 7 days of 30mg of Prednisone to treat severe coughing episode. I was told there isn't any other medication or treatment for him. Night time coughing is very bad for him. Even after coming off the prednisone and the breathing treatments don't help much. Is there nothing else that can be done.
Avatar f tn So could this be the side effects of Nasonex after a month later and I still need to wait a bit longer or is this something I should continue to look into? It's really affecting my life.
Avatar n tn He started out on 25 mg with no side effects. Two weeks after he increased to 50 mg he began a headache - meaning it has not stopped. Here we are, going on week three of a headache. However, my son has been on other medications for sinisitis and bronchitis that could account for a headache. He now off of pulmicort, xopenex and nasonex. He is currently going through allergy testing as well. It is very difficult for me to try to determine the cause of the headache with so much going on with him.
Avatar n tn Hello, I have been taking Nasonex for 5 months now and starting 10 days ago, I started experiencing weird sensation in the left area of my chest, it would only happen 3 to 6 times a day and it would feel like someone just tapped the someone of my chest with a finger or two, after 3 or 4 days experiencing this, I just completly stopped using Nasonex and have been off Nasonex for 5 days and 11 hours now.
390388 tn?1279636213 I have not addictive tendancies and do not feel addiction would occur with so small a dose........and I have not side effects whatsoever from the dose. The acid reflux meds awaken me with a gnawing in my tummy and naseau and the only relief is to eat something. I do not think the doctors take this seriously when there is no fever and vital signs are normal, they tend to think all else is okay. My problem worsened after a colonoscopy and surgery to remove polyps from my colon??
Avatar n tn When I say uncontolable I mean she was coughing non stop for hours at a time. He put her on an antibiotic (zpack) and gave her cough medicine with codine. 5 days later she was not any better. Brought her back to the doctors and they did a test for whooping cough(have to wait 2 weeks for the results) and a chest x-ray, which was fine and put her on steriods. A week later she was still not better. She was seen by a pulmonary specialist this morning. They do not know whats wrong with her.
Avatar m tn The day after I was in pain and had a bad sore throat, still dry coughing. Is this a side effect of the Zantac? Or is this a sign my throat is healing from never having taken this kind of medicine before?
Avatar m tn I was diagnosed with Acute Sinusitis when I was 4 months old. I have tried pretty much everything and Nasonex was the best result I've had. No side affects, no taste, no drowsiness. And yet it's jumped to over $300/bottle. I lost my job due to lung conditions (never smoked) and lost everything I had. Went through bankruptcy and am on Medicaid. They refuse to cover it because it's so expensive.
Avatar n tn Hello my son has be having constant nose bleeds for about two years now i have taken him to the doctor twice and they have subscribed nasonex when nasonex side effects were nose bleeds what should i do?
