I was on nasonex spray prn or I take 1 puff each nose at times for few years= 4 years. Now I noticed hair thinning and loss. I have stopped the nasonex now. Will my hair grow back as usual? I am so worried. Iam not taking any other medication. But on hair supplements- zinc, vitamin E and multivitamin. Started my hair massage!

Recently I went to an eye, ear, nose specialist who prescribed Nasonex. Anyone have any success with it? I say that because I tried it now for two days with no effect. Do I need to try it longer? Anyone?

Well, my nose bleeds started with nasonex, the first time around was in the '90's, and no one seemed to know then that the nose bleeds were a side effect, although I kept having them and realized then that they occurred after using nasonex. Later, around 2007, I was told by a doctor, that it wouldn't be a bad idea to try it again, that it was actually a good drug.

Hello, I have been taking Nasonex for 5 months now and starting 10 days ago, I started experiencing weird sensation in the left area of my chest, it would only happen 3 to 6 times a day and it would feel like someone just tapped the someone of my chest with a finger or two, after 3 or 4 days experiencing this, I just completly stopped using Nasonex and have been off Nasonex for 5 days and 11 hours now.

I tried reducing sodium intake and this did not work. Diuretics did not work. Only two things over the past year and a half have somewhat worked. I tried using Nasonex and it worked great for about 4 days. The fluid seemed to drain out and my nasal bridge narrowed. Then i threw up one morning and the Nasonex hasn't worked since. Nasal corticosteroids are ineffective. I took antihistamines and that didn't work either.

Now the sound is a little better but still annoying. I am on nasonex. I do not think that it is working. How long should I wait to expect results.

Doctors have suggested, and I have tried, decongestants, Garasone, Nasonex, Neti pot, Advil Cold and Sinus. Nothing is working. The glands in my neck are sore and swollen. There does not seem to be much, if any, good news to be found on the resolution of this condition. Any suggestions??

Live in Gilbert, AZ - air has been good since heat started - Took him off nasonex 3 weeks ago and after a week he started fevers/moodiness/not eating much/seems very mellow/today started bark cough from seemingly chest congestion/nose not runny. Not himself....could it be withdrawal from the Nasonex? What is a natural alternative?

This doctor gave me some more xyzal and prescribed to me some nasonex but I find that its not helping if doing anything at all. The feeling in my left ear has still persisted all this time and as I yawn I still feel the uncomfortable/pain towards my neck/back of my jaw. It doesn't hurt when I tilt my neck to one side but once in a blue moon it does happen. Does anyone know whats wrong?

Hi, Susan. I am not sure if it is the same with everyone, but I have had PVCs and PACs for decades. I was on the 6 day pack of steroids about 3 times in my life and they never had any effect on mine. In fact, I usually felt pretty darned good the first two days. A lot of people that I know that have taken steroids said they made them feel bad, but I am an opposite. Mostly every medication makes me feel bad. These? I felt GREAT! Good luck.

I was paying $135 or so for Nasonex, which I thought was ridiculously expensive at the time. When Flonase became an OTC product, I thought Nasonex would become cheaper. That's what competition is supposed to do. But noooooo... I went to CVS today and the price was $218 for Nasonex. That is a total ripoff... Why did the price go up? I've had such a tough time with sinus headaches, allergies (watery eyes, plugged ears and tinnitus) and fatigue that I finally went to an ear-nost-throat doctor last week. He put me on Nasonex, a steroid nasal spray, to reduce the inflammation. I also hear my heartbeat in my ear at times, and he's hoping that a month on Nasonex will stop that. If not, he'll do a CT scan and other work to see what's going on.

And it is safe, not a cause of significant liver disease, and not associated with other side effects, deemed serious. To the best of our current knowledge, the long term use of a nasal steroid, as directed, does not pose a problem. However, if your symptoms diminish during certain seasons, you may not and should not take the drug during those times.

My name is Kimberly, I am 40 years old. About 7 years ago I was treated with Nasonex in conjunction with a cpap machine for my sleep apnea. After that every time I bent over water would pour out of one side of nose. At first I thought it was blood, but it was the exact consitency of water. I stooped using the nasonex and the cpap ueats ago. This has happened off and on for years.About 6 months ago I noticed the drip was back, as well as occasional water out of my ears.

my son had some reacurring headaches(not very strong but pretty often)the doctor put him on nasonex.that seemed to help but he then got a scalp fungus(they gave me ketoconazole cream) but he still has this.he then started to get cankersores in his mouth for about a month(this finally went away but about a week later he had a fever of 102 for about a day. the doctor said just to give him advil.he now has a rash, just small red bumps on his body but not anywhere on his face.

Antihistamines help a little but only for a few hours, and because of my job I can’t afford to be tired or loopy during the day. Mucinex has been working the best (taking it every night before bed), but it’s not taking it away. I’m still waking up with the draining and feeling very sick to my stomach. My next step is to go back to the doctor, but they just keep telling me to keep up with the Mucinex. I’m not getting any help from them. Any suggestions? I’m thinking maybe an allergist.

A few months ago I started using Nasonex every day because of allergies. Shortly after my heart started acting up, I was getting short bursts of tachycardia lasting no more than 30 seconds, but disconcerting never the less. That hadn't happened to me for several years, since my medications were switched. My GP told me that Nasonex wouldn't do that but I stopped using it anyway. I had an appt with my EP today and I asked about it.

Nose specialist prescribed him with Nasonex 2x spray per day, Ceflour antibiotic, Anpro Loratadine, and Roximeth. But i worry about the STeroid effect to my son. . So i stop after taken 1 tablet of Roximeth after i found out this is steroid. Please advise any side effect if my son stop this Roximeth after 1 tablet ? (as doctor always advise me to finish it so i don't want to tell doctor) Nasonex also steroid spray right?

Went to a doctor today..I have a noise in my left ear sounds like listening to a sea shell and I hear echos listening to people talk or the tv.. he said ear was clean and gave me for two weeks Nasonex said if don't work come back..I don't have a cold nose isn't backup no sinus pain or head ache..is this normal to give allergy meds for ear problems ??

I know I think they are supposed to use distilled water but I am allergic to city water with chlorine. Allergy pills not working BUT if I am laying down asleep, no sneezing, no dripping, which is clear……..
