nasonex

Avatar f tn I have tried all of the antihistamines around, none with a decongestant. Benadryl will put me to sleep and make me feel tired the next day, so I try not to use that unless it is a must. Alergia made me dry up too much but then it started making me feel odd, so I waited a few days and tried Zertic, that was the same reaction, so I again waited a few days and went back with Cleartin, same reaction. My PC doctor did give me the Singulair since I do have Asthma.
29837 tn?1414534648 My allergist gave me a sample of Nasonex, which I used for about a week. Unfortunately, it did not help my symptoms and I had frequent nosebleeds. Maybe try the spray for another couple of days?
Avatar n tn My cardiologist had told me to do a "trial & error" to see. I think Nasonex only has antihistamine in it, which is good. There are some with decongestant and I know that can mess things up. I'm doing allergy shots once I am feeling better.
Avatar n tn My heart is extremely sensitive to anything. I use Nasonex without any problems. It's the only thing I can use without worrying about it. That being said, Everyone is different and what is good for me may bother you.
531684 tn?1216745984 I have to admit It was scary. Deep down, I think it is most likely a symptom of my using Nasonex. The reason I feel this way is because I typically wake up in the morning with a nose caked in dry blood and sometimes blow it out when I'm blowing my nose. Is this a typical symptom? Should I stop using Nasonex? The reason I'm asking is to feel secure, I will certainly see a Doc, but I don't want to worry all day if this is normal.
Avatar f tn I can however use just a steroid inhaler along with the Nasonex nose spray, it seemed to work very well for me. Should I try staying with this or try Singular? I thought I read up on Singular as causing liver issues. What do you think would be the safest way to go? Or the best? I LOVE breathing better !! I will be needing most of this daily. Thank you for your time !!
Avatar m tn The use of glucocorticoids (the medication is NASONEX, to the nose) can make someone immunocompromised? I used Nasonex for one month. I stopped using today, and I used the normal dose. I'll do a HIV test, so I need to know this question. Thank you guys!
538745 tn?1213755988 How are you? Do you have congested nose? How long have you been experiencing this? Tinnitus is a sensation of noise, as a ringing or roaring, a symptom that can be caused by a number of medical conditions. Tinnitus may be the result of age-related hearing loss or ear injury, or it may be an indication of a disease of your circulatory system. Many medications have been tried to relieve tinnitus with varying degrees of success. Treatment consists mostly of managing the problem.
Avatar n tn Everything that the doctor already suggested does help, but I still have to use allergy medicine. I use Benadryl and Nasonex. Nasonex, because it is fragrance-free. Flonase isn't fragrance-free and I could taste that one going down the back of my throat through the nasal passages connecting to the throat. That affected me negatively in other ways, too. I'm glad my doctor changed my prescription to Nasonex.
Avatar f tn I was on nasonex spray prn or I take 1 puff each nose at times for few years= 4 years. Now I noticed hair thinning and loss. I have stopped the nasonex now. Avatar f tn Is there anything else I can do to help with the dryness. She suggested Nasonex, which opens my sinus up and I feel like I'm drowing which they do without the medicine. Please advise. Thank you.
Avatar f tn Hello, I have battled MRSA in the nose for a long time and once again am on an antibiotic and a nasal ointment. I use Nasonex. How do I clean the nozzle so that I can be sure there is no bacteria on it after I use it? I'm thinking to use one bottle on the left and another for the right. But I want to clean it right. Most people just wipe it. Is that enough? Thanks for any help.
Avatar n tn But my question is should I go back to taking the nasonex? Was it a good thing that the nasonex made it louder because maybe it was just cleaning my ear out from the fluid, since it stopped ringing completely later that night which it hasnt done all week. But I dont know because it was a lot more irritating that night then ever! When I got out of the hot shower. I'm starting to think maybe the hot shower could be whats really irritating it more.

Avatar n tn I have been to see allergists to get a list of what I am allergic to. These things are strawberries, cherries, peanuts, tabacco, horse hair, dog and cat dander, dust mites. I twice went on a regimen of allergy shots; on both occasions, I got some temporary relief that lasted a couple of weeks, but after that, the symptoms of the allergies returned at full force even while I continued taking the shots.
Avatar m tn s what competition is supposed to do. But noooooo... I went to CVS today and the price was $218 for Nasonex. That is a total ripoff... Why did the price go up? So what's the difference between Merck, the manufacturer, and a robber with a gun on the street? Answer: The gun. Merck robs you without using a gun. Very clever, taking advantage of peoples' medical conditions.
Avatar n tn Started on Rhinochort in October-went to Nasonex, it worked better. Tried to discontinue medications in Feb and he had immediate symptoms again - returned to it. For the most part, both medications have resolved his symptoms. I did notice over the last year he has been moodier/yells at us/crys over little things - but attributed to his age. Avatar f tn It probably is. I get something like that, too. I sometimes have so much drainage that I have to take oral antihistamine, too. I hate it, because the oral antihistamine is so sedating.
