I was on nasonex spray prn or I take 1 puff each nose at times for few years= 4 years. Now I noticed hair thinning and loss. I have stopped the nasonex now. Will my hair grow back as usual? I am so worried. Iam not taking any other medication. But on hair supplements- zinc, vitamin E and multivitamin. Started my hair massage!

Went to a doctor today..I have a noise in my left ear sounds like listening to a sea shell and I hear echos listening to people talk or the tv.. he said ear was clean and gave me for two weeks Nasonex said if don't work come back..I don't have a cold nose isn't backup no sinus pain or head ache..is this normal to give allergy meds for ear problems ??

Has anyone had chronic PND with loss of smell? Is there help for this???? I am desperate. I have suffered with this for years. I don't know exactly when my smell went completely, it was gradual. I want so desperately for it to return. I have taken immunotherapy, MRI, CT scan, lots of antibiotics, prescription nose sprays, nasal wash, etc. to no avail.

Recently I went to an eye, ear, nose specialist who prescribed Nasonex. Anyone have any success with it? I say that because I tried it now for two days with no effect. Do I need to try it longer? Anyone?

But my question is should I go back to taking the nasonex? Was it a good thing that the nasonex made it louder because maybe it was just cleaning my ear out from the fluid, since it stopped ringing completely later that night which it hasnt done all week. But I dont know because it was a lot more irritating that night then ever! When I got out of the hot shower. I'm starting to think maybe the hot shower could be whats really irritating it more.

Hello, I have been taking Nasonex for 5 months now and starting 10 days ago, I started experiencing weird sensation in the left area of my chest, it would only happen 3 to 6 times a day and it would feel like someone just tapped the someone of my chest with a finger or two, after 3 or 4 days experiencing this, I just completly stopped using Nasonex and have been off Nasonex for 5 days and 11 hours now.

ve tried all the home remedies to remove the fluid....ear drops, hair dryer blown at ear, heat pack on ear, popping my ears (which I tried and failed to do). I can't find anything else to try that doesn't sound ridiculous. I am open to any suggestions. The fluid is driving me nuts and I can't hear.

I guess it is due to some infected hair follicle infection. three months back little pus was found. please advice me with some ointments and medicines.

Started on Rhinochort in October-went to Nasonex, it worked better. Tried to discontinue medications in Feb and he had immediate symptoms again - returned to it. Low iron levels can cause hair loss. You might want to get that checked.

I'm losing hair too. Not in clumps but I clog the drain once a week from my hair loss. And all my friends said their hair was so full and healthy during pregnancy and after lost some. I actually posted about this a month or so ago. I have hair loss that really started post Tx. My hair didn't grow hardly at all during Tx, than about 6 weeks post Tx it really started falling out, probably lost 50%. Everyone says it should grow back fine after 6 months post Tx. But, every few years my thyroid just burns out, and I go hypo. When I do I experience extreme hair loss and brittle nails. For me, the animal based thyroid substitutes work much better when I'm in a hypo phase. Additionally, sometimes when I am not hypo, the medication I take for my Graves' just knocks down my T4/T3 levels so low that once again I start to lose a lot of hair.
