nasonex for stuffy nose

my son 8 years old suffered stuffy nose which has beencontinously for weeks. Nose specialist prescribed him with Nasonex 2x spray per day, Ceflour antibiotic, Anpro Loratadine, and Roximeth. But i worry about the STeroid effect to my son. . So i stop after taken 1 tablet of Roximeth after i found out this is steroid. Please advise any side effect if my son stop this Roximeth after 1 tablet ?

Hello everyone. For the past 3 days my nose has been stuffy but today it is worse and when i blew my nose a little dried blood was on the tissue. Infact my nose is so stuffy that i am taking nasonex just to breathe. DO anyone of you have these type of symptoms.

Yes it is every time I stop Nasonex I get very ill and it will make you tired, stuffy nose, body aches & fever. Yes it will, each time I stop for 1-2 days. They went up on the price so I cant afford to keep buying hopefully my symptoms will go away soon.

stuffy nose, followed by a sore throat (when swallowing). No temperature, headache or cough. The only thing I used before seeing doc was Afrin, Advil and some Zicam. Went to the doc, and she said it was a virus. She prescribed Nasonex, Astepro, and the usual "stay away from afrin" advice. My questions: 1) She prescribed switching off between Nasonex and Astepro--taking a dose of each on alternating days. Is this common?

but as of last 2 weeks i am stuffier tthn i have e ever be but now that i have used it for a few weeks i have started to get really stuffy early in the evening..so i know the rebound is starting to happen....I have noticed before i started having problems with sinus pressure that i would get a little stuffy in the evening if i sat in chair..as long as i was up and about that would not occure...but as soon as i sat in a lounge chair or laid down especially the blocking of my nose would start...

After seeing a doctor i was prescribed medicine for bronchitis and nasonex. The nasonex takes care of the stuffy nose and i take claritin at nights so i dont wake up with symptoms, however i still have the cough and mucus (apparently it wasn't bronchitis). I am currently on medicine for a sinus infection. could a sinus infection be the cause of the wheezing? also i have began to develop allergy's to foods but have not been tested for dust, pollen, etc.

I definately for years at the change of the seasons when my nose gets stuffed up and i deal with the chronic sinusitis have bad neck pain as well they do come hand in hand for me!!!

she had nasonex (cortisone based nasal spray) for two weeks.then stopped for 10 days and now the dr.tells me to continue for a month. I am going mad with all of this and i have to wait a month to see the specialist..

ve been battling both myself for approx 4 months now. Initially I was prescribed Nasonex after a particularly bad month of fighting an endless cold. I began having panic attacks and symptoms of depression. I spoke to my family physician after doing some of my own reading and determined that the Nasonex which is a corticosteroid may be causing side effects of anxiety and low mood.

on my second night there i began experiencing a stuffy nose which i have have till now. i also have been clearing my throat (which feels a little awkward, NOT SORE) quite often. Went to a doctor today..I have a noise in my left ear sounds like listening to a sea shell and I hear echos listening to people talk or the tv.. he said ear was clean and gave me for two weeks Nasonex said if don't work come back..I don't have a cold nose isn't backup no sinus pain or head ache..is this normal to give allergy meds for ear problems ??

I am 10 weeks pregnant and my allergies are really acting up , stuffy nose then runny nose, sneezing, sinus draing and a lot of phlem stuck in my throat. The pharmacist said i can take Benydril which i have been taking since Tuesday morning and now they are done so know i need to get some more. What else can i take in pill form as the nasal sprays don't work on me. What lozenges can i take also.

Anyone else have their allergies act crazier than usual while pregnant? I'm about 4/5 weeks and I'm sneezing a lot, my nose is stuffy & runny,I'm coughing and I just feel blah! Well, my nose bleeds started with nasonex, the first time around was in the '90's, and no one seemed to know then that the nose bleeds were a side effect, although I kept having them and realized then that they occurred after using nasonex. Later, around 2007, I was told by a doctor, that it wouldn't be a bad idea to try it again, that it was actually a good drug.

It is possible that you have a post nasal drip. This would account for the stuffy nose in the morning as well as the mucous that you can hear when you are laying down. You might want to look into seeing an ENT if you think this could be the case. Good luck.

I was on nasonex spray prn or I take 1 puff each nose at times for few years= 4 years. Now I noticed hair thinning and loss. I have stopped the nasonex now. Will my hair grow back as usual? I am so worried. Iam not taking any other medication. But on hair supplements- zinc, vitamin E and multivitamin. Started my hair massage!

Anyone have any success with it? I say that because I tried it now for two days with no effect. Do I need to try it longer? Anyone?

I got covid 5 weeks ago and recovered within 8 days but the post nasal drip is still lingering with minor one sided stuffy nose on and off. The post nasal drip seems like it drips less at times and more other times so it is also on and off but doesn't seem to go away. When there is a lot I would cough and sometimes it would coat my throat or get stuck there and I have to clear my throat constantly or try to hack it up by coughing. It is annoying and miserable.

Even after suctioning her nose, using salinex, nasonex, constantly blowing her nose and even removing her adenoids and tonsils (last week) she's the same. Always mouth breathing, constantly stuffed, and like you I know it affects her quality of life as well as my family's at home. I've tried naturopathic solutions, homeopathic solutions and antihistamines. I have hit rock bottom and don't know what else to do. I am open to suggestions, please help.

I used condom but i realized that it got burst. Right now my major problem is stuffy nose.
