Nasonex every day

Common Questions and Answers about Nasonex every day

nasonex

Avatar n tn This may be an overreactive question, but I don't want to cause any more PVCs or PACs then necessary. I've had them for 2.5 months now. I had the 30 day event monitor and he said they were benign. I have pretty bad allergies and my allergist wants me to take immunotherapy, but in the mean time wants me on a medrol steroid pack, and antibiotics. Just curious if you know this answer. Thank U.
531684 tn?1216745984 t even get to the end of the complaints on the internet about nose bleeds from nasonex! Well, my nose bleeds started with nasonex, the first time around was in the '90's, and no one seemed to know then that the nose bleeds were a side effect, although I kept having them and realized then that they occurred after using nasonex. Later, around 2007, I was told by a doctor, that it wouldn't be a bad idea to try it again, that it was actually a good drug.
Avatar m tn If it does not happen immediately then, then the first time I bend over in the day it pours. Then usually not again in the day unless I nap. It taste mostly like tears. I can't tell if it is a metallic taste. I tried doing the hankie test, I don't think it stiffens much when it dries. My hubby says it Is stiff .I have occasional headaches, tinnitus, and my ears pop. When I brought up a csf leak the doctor brushed it off. He says the headaches are migraines, says it is sinuses.
Avatar n tn they found nothing but a little allergy reaction to something. the ear nose throat doctor was the one who put him on the nasonex, every thing else checked out with him too.i didnt think it was meningitis becouse my family doctor checked his glands and neck stiffness.i do know that he did have the fungas on his scalp but i wasnt sure about all the other problems if they could be related to that also.
29837 tn?1414534648 Recently I went to an eye, ear, nose specialist who prescribed Nasonex. Anyone have any success with it? I say that because I tried it now for two days with no effect. Do I need to try it longer? Anyone?

Avatar f tn A few months ago I started using Nasonex every day because of allergies. Shortly after my heart started acting up, I was getting short bursts of tachycardia lasting no more than 30 seconds, but disconcerting never the less. That hadn't happened to me for several years, since my medications were switched. My GP told me that Nasonex wouldn't do that but I stopped using it anyway. I had an appt with my EP today and I asked about it.
Avatar n tn t even think to flush the right ear out that day because they said there wasnt enough ear wax in it at all. So I took the nasonex that day and started my new antibiotic that night.

Avatar f tn Everytime I use them the next day the inside of my eyelids feel gritty like sandpaper. It is very uncomfortable. Retasis does the same thing. The Dr. tells me my dryness is between 3 and 4. Ocassionally my left eye swells and is painful. On thoses days I want to patch my eye to keep the light out. Is there anything else I can do to help with the dryness. She suggested Nasonex, which opens my sinus up and I feel like I'm drowing which they do without the medicine. Please advise.
Avatar n tn Nose specialist prescribed him with Nasonex 2x spray per day, Ceflour antibiotic, Anpro Loratadine, and Roximeth. But i worry about the STeroid effect to my son. . So i stop after taken 1 tablet of Roximeth after i found out this is steroid. Please advise any side effect if my son stop this Roximeth after 1 tablet ? (as doctor always advise me to finish it so i don't want to tell doctor) Nasonex also steroid spray right?
Avatar m tn I was paying $135 or so for Nasonex, which I thought was ridiculously expensive at the time. When Flonase became an OTC product, I thought Nasonex would become cheaper. That's what competition is supposed to do. But noooooo... I went to CVS today and the price was $218 for Nasonex. That is a total ripoff... Why did the price go up? So what's the difference between Merck, the manufacturer, and a robber with a gun on the street? Answer: The gun. Merck robs you without using a gun.
Avatar f tn What antihistamines have you used? It wasn't an antihistamine with a decongestant or Benadryl was it? Singulair can be used for Allergic Rhinitis like you have, however, this is usually prescribed for someone with Asthma issues secondary to Allergic Rhinitis. What nasal steroid are you using? Most of them can be used long term.
Avatar f tn I wake up every morning with what feels like lots of phelgm in my throat, and since I sleep on my right side, there is some fluid that seems to build up in my right ear. Nothing ever comes out of my ear but when I lift my ear off the pillow there is a suctioning sound, and when I wiggle my finger in there I hear stuff. I also get a flutter felling in my ear sometimes. Whew...........My main concern is the phlegm/mucous in my throat.
538745 tn?1213755988 I been having this noise in my ear..sounds like I'm holding a shell up to my ear and the ocean is there ..Plus I get echos or hear twice noise when people talking or the tv..the higher the pitch the louder it is in my left ear..I went to doc here and was told my ear was clean not red no wax etc..so he said doesn't know what it is for now..having me take nasonex a day for two week..no cold here not even a sinus headache..
Avatar m tn The use of glucocorticoids (the medication is NASONEX, to the nose) can make someone immunocompromised? I used Nasonex for one month. I stopped using today, and I used the normal dose. I'll do a HIV test, so I need to know this question. Thank you guys!
Avatar f tn yes i have tried and done all of these avanues....yesterday i did go back to my nasonex to try and off set the rebound during the day...seemed to help some....i still use the off brand of AFRIN,AFRIN...before going to bed ...only thing that gets me through the night...and it last till late in the afternnon or early evenin the next day...then the stuffyness starts...especialy if i am setting or lying down..
Avatar m tn I decided to just sleep it off but awoke with the pain still there (though it faded later on in the day) and what remained was an odd feeling in my left ear though I can't quite explain what it is it certainly isn't what it normally once was. It wasn't just the odd feeling but there was a noise that I would constantly hear again I'm not quite sure how to explain it but it sounded staticy.
633143 tn?1262133535 Antihistamines help a little but only for a few hours, and because of my job I can’t afford to be tired or loopy during the day. Mucinex has been working the best (taking it every night before bed), but it’s not taking it away. I’m still waking up with the draining and feeling very sick to my stomach. My next step is to go back to the doctor, but they just keep telling me to keep up with the Mucinex. I’m not getting any help from them. Any suggestions? I’m thinking maybe an allergist.
Avatar m tn I will only take methylprednisolone 16 mg twice a day for 5 days only and momethasone/nasonex (500 mcg/g) two sprays a day for 1 month. I am worrying that it may affect my hiv test result in my 6th month? can they delay antibodies to show up or something? I don't know how long will those corticosteroid will stay in my body. But as you can see it is only for short term use. I wish to be enlightened. I wish to move on and start a new life.
Avatar f tn Advair 250/50 twice a day, singulair (10mg), Xoponex nebulized 3 times a day (1.25mg per dose) along with a variety of vitamins. In the past the only thing that has worked is the high dose prednisone but after my last scare coming off of it, i'm petrified and don't want to go back on it. Any insight would be GREATLY appreciated.
Avatar m tn My guess would be allergies as well. Also, irritants in the home can add to the situation, or cause it. I live in a very dry dusty climate and my son has similar issues. If anyone smokes in your home that can also be problematic. We have an air filtration system as Specialmom recommends, as well as an air humidifier to add moisture to the air (if your climate is similar to ours). I also am very careful to thoroughly clean my son's room every other day....
221122 tn?1323011265 The only things that I changed was that I started using Nexium every other day instead of every day and reduced the dose from 40 mg to 20 mg. I also started (as suggested by my cardiologist) taking a calcium/magnesium/ Vitamin D3 softgel once a day. I dont't know if that's why I have only a few PVCs a day now or not. I still have sugar in my diet, the same amount as usual. Not excessive, but I do like honey on toast and an oatmeal cookie or two each day with some tea.
