nasonex cough

Since October - Flovent for asthma has stopped his cough which was excercise induced - Also runny nose caused the coughing. Started on Rhinochort in October-went to Nasonex, it worked better. Tried to discontinue medications in Feb and he had immediate symptoms again - returned to it. For the most part, both medications have resolved his symptoms. I did notice over the last year he has been moodier/yells at us/crys over little things - but attributed to his age.

I have had a nagging cough for a long time. It isn't a long cough, just a short one and it seems to bring up a little flem as opposed to a dry cough. It happens perhaps a few times a day. I do have nasal drainage most of the time due to allergies. Is the cought related to that?

stuffy nose, followed by a sore throat (when swallowing). No temperature, headache or cough. The only thing I used before seeing doc was Afrin, Advil and some Zicam. Went to the doc, and she said it was a virus. She prescribed Nasonex, Astepro, and the usual "stay away from afrin" advice. My questions: 1) She prescribed switching off between Nasonex and Astepro--taking a dose of each on alternating days. Is this common?

Tried antibiotics, chest X-ray, turned out to be just a miserable riba cough. Used a hydrocodon cough syrup so it would not wake me at night and lots of water to sooth it during the day. Agree about the lack of energy for sex, but most of the antidepressants ruin sex anyway.

I continued with the Nasonex and Patanase over the next few days and now I feel probably 80% better. The cough has diminished from an all the time debilitating cough to one that is just occasional. This was after seeing many doctors - both Pulmonologists and ENTs. It's amazing that they wouldn't think of this before - and that you caught it based off of a simple post on an internet forum. My son was diognosed with mild to moderate tracheomalacia. He is on Nasonex and Zyrtec to control post nasal drip and use Atravent as needed to help minimize cough. He has just come off 7 days of 30mg of Prednisone to treat severe coughing episode. I was told there isn't any other medication or treatment for him. Night time coughing is very bad for him. Even after coming off the prednisone and the breathing treatments don't help much. Is there nothing else that can be done.

After seeing a doctor i was prescribed medicine for bronchitis and nasonex. The nasonex takes care of the stuffy nose and i take claritin at nights so i dont wake up with symptoms, however i still have the cough and mucus (apparently it wasn't bronchitis). I am currently on medicine for a sinus infection. could a sinus infection be the cause of the wheezing? also i have began to develop allergy's to foods but have not been tested for dust, pollen, etc.

My symptoms started a month ago when i had a fever, throat pain, coughing up yellow mucus and a runny nose, so i decided to visit my doctor which prescribed Klacid 500 mg (Clarithromycin), which i took and after a few days the runny nose stopped and my throat no longer hurt, however, i was still caughing, which a follow-up to my doctor gave me Valdocef (Cefadroxil) which i also took but the cough remained.

Hello doctor, A little more than 2 weeks ago I attended a brothel and performed cunnilingus on a commercial sex worker for a very long time, probably 20 minutes. Recently I went to an eye, ear, nose specialist who prescribed Nasonex. Anyone have any success with it? I say that because I tried it now for two days with no effect. Do I need to try it longer? Anyone?

I was on nasonex spray prn or I take 1 puff each nose at times for few years= 4 years. Now I noticed hair thinning and loss. I have stopped the nasonex now. Will my hair grow back as usual? I am so worried. Iam not taking any other medication. But on hair supplements- zinc, vitamin E and multivitamin. Started my hair massage!

Hello, my husband is 45 and in over all good physical and mental health. He developed a cough that won't go away. He feels a tickle in the back of his throat and he has to cough. 10 -day course of .875 MG Augmentin with pulmicort + albuterol nebulizer treatments, and Nasonex. I'm 16, and I recently got put on amoxicillin for a really bad eat infection. Hello, I have been taking Nasonex for 5 months now and starting 10 days ago, I started experiencing weird sensation in the left area of my chest, it would only happen 3 to 6 times a day and it would feel like someone just tapped the someone of my chest with a finger or two, after 3 or 4 days experiencing this, I just completly stopped using Nasonex and have been off Nasonex for 5 days and 11 hours now.
