nasonex

531684 tn?1216745984 Now, I can tell you, it has been four years since I stopped that drug, and every winter since, and other times after using Nasonex during 2007, when the air gets dry, I loose over five pints of blood, and don't tell me that's all the blood we have, because it was measured in a bag in the ER! It appears that my sinuses are PERMANENTLY DAMAGED!!!! I keep getting told that I should file a class action lawsuit against Nasonex!
Avatar f tn I have noticed before i started having problems with sinus pressure that i would get a little stuffy in the evening if i sat in chair..as long as i was up and about that would not occure...but as soon as i sat in a lounge chair or laid down especially the blocking of my nose would start....before sinuse sergery 2 years ago..the sinus blocking started on one side or the other of my nose at night ..depending on which side i was laying on....
Avatar n tn Straining may cause an increase in blood pressure and also affect the flow of blood to and within the brain. This sensation of head fullness may need to be assessed.Your blood pressure may also need to be evaluated. As one stands abruptly from a lying down position, a feeling of dizziness or faintness may be felt. In your case ,you have noted a certain pressure within the head.I suggest that you refrain from doing the exercises until you have been thoroughly assessed.
Avatar n tn I have a feeling of pressure above my cheekbone between my temple and ear (roughly in the middle) what could it be? I'm taking nasonex (oral nose) and omeprazole (oral pill) i've had this feeling for 3 days now.

Avatar n tn But my question is should I go back to taking the nasonex? Was it a good thing that the nasonex made it louder because maybe it was just cleaning my ear out from the fluid, since it stopped ringing completely later that night which it hasnt done all week. But I dont know because it was a lot more irritating that night then ever! When I got out of the hot shower. I'm starting to think maybe the hot shower could be whats really irritating it more.
29837 tn?1414534648 Recently I went to an eye, ear, nose specialist who prescribed Nasonex. Anyone have any success with it? I say that because I tried it now for two days with no effect. Do I need to try it longer? Anyone?

Avatar n tn s pollution or air quality - Negative blood and scratch tests for all but cats...we have none. Since October - Flovent for asthma has stopped his cough which was excercise induced - Also runny nose caused the coughing. Started on Rhinochort in October-went to Nasonex, it worked better. Tried to discontinue medications in Feb and he had immediate symptoms again - returned to it. For the most part, both medications have resolved his symptoms.

Avatar f tn I forgot to add that over the past month or so my blood pressure has been running somewhat low which I didn't mention to my doctor. I'd say it had averaged about 95/55 but it's been as low as 92/45. Could the blood pressure issue be related to whatever else is going on with my ears/throat? Thanks for your time.
Avatar m tn A over all phisical was performed blood pressure was normal. Throids felt normal. But upon inspected my nasel cavity the doctor sed my sinuses seemed inflammed and i had post nasel drip. She diagnosed it as Sinusitis with no evidence of bacterial infection. And prescribed me Albuterol for my asthma, an antihestimine for my allergies and nasonex for my sinuses and sed that that the combination should clear up my sinus problems and hopefully alleviate my headaches.
Avatar f tn It started early December, I was prescribed Nasonex for my allergies. I didn't think much of it because I used Flonase before with no issues but I wanted to see if this would be more effective. After about a week of usage I started feeling "off". Every day it got worse and worse.
Avatar f tn Hi, what is your blood pressure? Yes, the pressure in your head and neck will generally be lessened when you sit up or stand... when you are upright the heart has to pump uphill. If the veins were bulging when upright, that might be more to be concerned about.
Avatar n tn I started to think what could be making me feel this way and I started to do some research and came to the conclusion I should stop taking FLONASE. The very next day my heart was back to normal and my blood pressure started to look better and better. From now on I will only take Flonase if I really need it!
Avatar f tn My blood pressure has been running low for several weeks. It's averaged about 97/55 but the diastolic number has been as low as 46. This morning my bp was 92/48. During these few weeks I've been experiencing some throat irritation and ear aches. One side of my throat feels a tad bit swollen when I swallow. A couple times when I was trying to eat I would get a sharper pain in my right ear and even my right eye would ache.

Avatar m tn My name is Kimberly, I am 40 years old. About 7 years ago I was treated with Nasonex in conjunction with a cpap machine for my sleep apnea. After that every time I bent over water would pour out of one side of nose. At first I thought it was blood, but it was the exact consitency of water. I stooped using the nasonex and the cpap ueats ago. This has happened off and on for years.About 6 months ago I noticed the drip was back, as well as occasional water out of my ears.
Avatar f tn I have had this problem off and on for years now, very painful for several days at a time until the pressure finally stops and a slight amount of fluid will drain. It occurs in either or both ears. Prior to the relief of pressure it will cause a debilitating head ache. After internet research finally tried using Nasonex and that seems to be the only thing that helps, usually it helps, and usually it helps the most if I use it soon enough with the start of symptoms.
Avatar f tn Did you ever figure out what is causing your issues? I ask because I woke up with an aura migraine this morning and found this post. My ears were ringing louder than normal as well. If I have auras, it is usually later in the day. I have a uncommonly diagnosed disease called fibromuscular dysplasia. Mine is in the upper internal carotid arteries.
548980 tn?1214822412 I eat well, I drink lots and lots of water, I dont drink alcohol, I do smoke-which i know i need to stop, and im on Nasonex spray, Astelin Spray, Allegra, Antivert (take as needed), Klonopin and Paxel (sp?). The Klonopin and Paxel are for the anxiety... Thanks in advance.
Avatar n tn Are you presently taking any medications? Have you got your blood pressure checked? It seems to be tension headache and stress you are undergoing can certainly worsen it. It is good idea to go and consult a ENT specialist or a neurophysican and get evaluated. Till then, take over the counter pain medications and Alprozolam orally for sometime till your doctor treats you. Take care.
Avatar m tn This may be associated with hearing loss, medication side effect, part of aging, or a symptom of other health problems, such as allergies, high or low blood pressure, tumors and problems in the heart, blood vessels, jaw and neck. If you have history of allergies, this may be the primary cause. Avoiding the allergen or trigger and taking antihistamine may be very helpful. If it persists, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor or be referred to an ENT for proper evaluation.
Avatar m tn Soon enough I went to visit a doctor about it who took a look at my ears and told me they were perfectly fine but he gave me some xyzal and nasonex nose spray. After taking both the noise began to slowly fade away but this odd feeling in my ear has still persisted and every time I yawn I can still feel the slight uncomfortable/pain at the left side of my neck.
Avatar m tn I was paying $135 or so for Nasonex, which I thought was ridiculously expensive at the time. When Flonase became an OTC product, I thought Nasonex would become cheaper. That's what competition is supposed to do. But noooooo... I went to CVS today and the price was $218 for Nasonex. That is a total ripoff... Why did the price go up? So what's the difference between Merck, the manufacturer, and a robber with a gun on the street? Answer: The gun. Merck robs you without using a gun.
Avatar f tn For the last month I have had pressure behind my cheekbones constantly. For the last two weeks I have been experiencing constant squeezing pressure in my head and neck made worse by lying down. Any ideas to what this may be?
