nasonex and cough

Started on Rhinochort in October-went to Nasonex, it worked better. Tried to discontinue medications in Feb and he had immediate symptoms again - returned to it. For the most part, both medications have resolved his symptoms. I did notice over the last year he has been moodier/yells at us/crys over little things - but attributed to his age. t a long cough, just a short one and it seems to bring up a little flem as opposed to a dry cough. It happens perhaps a few times a day. I do have nasal drainage most of the time due to allergies. Is the cought related to that?

Tried antibiotics, chest X-ray, turned out to be just a miserable riba cough. Used a hydrocodon cough syrup so it would not wake me at night and lots of water to sooth it during the day. Agree about the lack of energy for sex, but most of the antidepressants ruin sex anyway.

I continued with the Nasonex and Patanase over the next few days and now I feel probably 80% better. The cough has diminished from an all the time debilitating cough to one that is just occasional. This was after seeing many doctors - both Pulmonologists and ENTs. It's amazing that they wouldn't think of this before - and that you caught it based off of a simple post on an internet forum. My main concern is the phlegm/mucous in my throat. I take nasonex and prilosec (for suspected GERD) but nothing seems to help. ANy suggestions on what this could be or what I can do?

After seeing a doctor i was prescribed medicine for bronchitis and nasonex. The nasonex takes care of the stuffy nose and i take claritin at nights so i dont wake up with symptoms, however i still have the cough and mucus (apparently it wasn't bronchitis). I am currently on medicine for a sinus infection. could a sinus infection be the cause of the wheezing? also i have began to develop allergy's to foods but have not been tested for dust, pollen, etc.

Hi. I'm 15 male having a hard time this and the previous month with coughing. I have visited countless doctors, each time with a different and (with my knowledge) inaccurate diagnosis.

Everything that the doctor already suggested does help, but I still have to use allergy medicine. I use Benadryl and Nasonex. Nasonex, because it is fragrance-free. Flonase isn't fragrance-free and I could taste that one going down the back of my throat through the nasal passages connecting to the throat. That affected me negatively in other ways, too. I'm glad my doctor changed my prescription to Nasonex.

I was on nasonex spray prn or I take 1 puff each nose at times for few years= 4 years. Now I noticed hair thinning and loss. I have stopped the nasonex now. Will my hair grow back as usual? Hello, my husband is 45 and in over all good physical and mental health. He developed a cough that won't go away. He feels a tickle in the back of his throat and he has to cough. He coughs constantly. The only time he has relief is when he sleeps at night. He was told he has mild GERD and has tried about 4 acid reflux medicines that don't stop the cough, and he doesn't have any heartburn.. However, his vocal chords are a little inflamed.

t whether I should Just keep doing the Nasonex and nothing else and wait n see? or if I should take some Sudafed and see what that does. Im not usually a person that takes medicines a lot I usually just like to work out and exercise a lot and let my body take care of it. But I never had tinnitus for 2 months before haha...but I'm just wondering what would be the better alternative do you think?

10 -day course of .875 MG Augmentin with pulmicort + albuterol nebulizer treatments, and Nasonex. Some improvement -- lung function up to 81%. 3. 3-week course of 2 MG Augmentin, higher dose of symbicort (no nebulizers), and Nasonex. By January 6, my lung function was up to 92%, which was for me, normal. The allergist still thought I had a sinus infection, so she recommended a sinus CT scan, which showed no infection.

I am one of those 'supposedly' rare cases. I used nasonex in the past years off and on. Doctors kept saying it was a rare side effect to have nose bleeds, yet I can't even get to the end of the complaints on the internet about nose bleeds from nasonex!

My problem is that now I have no ear infection, but I have a LOT of bright green mucus in my nose, and I have a persistent cough every time I take a deep breath and even when I'm talking for more than a few seconds. Sometimes there is mucus, but the dry coughs are whats bugging me. It's been two weeks since I've been to the doctor. Do I need to go back? Do I have something stronger than the doctor thought I had? Any help would be great!!
