The most common side effects from naproxen are rash, ringing in the ears, headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, abdominal pain, nausea etc! Antibiotics- only address bacterial infections- destroy friendly bacteria. This creates a compromised intestinal flora enviroment. 80% of the immune system lies in the gut! Also antibiotics contribute to fungal imbalance leading to possible candida infections.

The side effects were not at all worth any benefit she may have gotten. She is also taking naproxen. Praying that will keep them away!

Like... they said at 10mg there are very few side-effects and at 20mg there are noticeable side-effects. But, you obviously don't want to change the dose on your own, as this can be extremely dangerous! But, it would be worth talking to your doctor about if the side-effects don't go away fast enough. Although... most of the time... with SSRIs in general I find, it can take 2 to 4 weeks for side-effects to go away and then they're gone for good.

Do the new drugs come with their own side effects besides the ones that soc come with? Not sure if I asked that right, I'm still waiting for everything to come together but if the new meds come with even worse side effects than one might already get maybe that's another reason to treat now.

Which I do know is a sulphamide and I am allergic to sulpha drugs, but in turn, the side effects to Celebrex also mentioned if a rash develops it could be related to liver disease...I was only on the Celebrex for 2 days, so I am still in the dark about the rash. Often at times, I am waking up in the night because of the pain.

sorry to hear your hubby is having a hard time. sounds like he is having some of the common side effects. There is nothing that can boost platlets but many docs let them go really low before lowering or stopping the meds. Try and get back on the full strength of interferon ASAP! Probably the most common side effect is the itching. I have it as well and it is horrible. I have found some relief with a prescription med called Atarax.

s office and asked about these symptoms, the nurse stated the doctor said these were not normal side effects. How do I get my Oncologist to see that I am having these problems and to treat them?

re having a discussion on the MS forum about whether one can skip a dose of Avonex to avoid the major side effects during the holiday festivities. Some who take Avonex feel quite sick for a day or two. I'm lucky not to, but still this is a good question. Perhaps you could answer in terms of all 4 DMDs. Thank you.

s a prescription, it is at a higher dose. The amoxicillin is an antibiotic, as you likely already know. The most common side effects with either of these is stomach upset or pain. If either occurs, discontinue and consult your doctor.

Hi Trudie. Thank you so much for the reply. It's reassuring to know that I'm not alone. When I was first diagnosed with SLE, I was immediately prescribed plaquenil and a low dose prednisone. I was a user of both medications for 10 yrs. A year or two back, the Rheumo which I had seen, took me off of the plaquenil and not long after that my primary took me off the prednisone due to testing negative on my ANA count.

Naproxen is a prescribed NSAID, or heavy duty Aleve. It has blood thinning side effects which could be the source of your bleeding. If the bleeding is even moderate, I suggest you discontinue use and immediately scheudle a follow up appointment with your provider. If bleeding is very mild, such as you simply bleed more if you cut yourself, i would take note and mention upon your next appointment.

I am starting to feel better, but I am having side effects. I have been on the lithium for a year so I am not worried about it, but I feel jittery, am shaky, and my heart rate is staying at 100 BPM. If he is experiencing an increase in heart palpitations while taking Florinef, I would recommend asking his doctor to check his Potassium level. Florinef can deplete the body of Potassium, which can cause all sorts of unusual side effects. Not to mention the fact that patients with Dysautonomia are notorious for being particularly intolerant to any electrolyte imbalance. The reaction you describe does sound a bit more like an allergic reaction though.

Recently, about 3 weeks ago, I developed a rash and hive like bumps on my face. The rash is like severely dry skin with flakes and all, but my skin is red and almist looks and feels like sunburn. Anybody have any ideas?
