sneeze

1530342 tn?1405016490 Okay, how many tried to sneeze with eyes open, just to see if you could do it? Gotta admit, I did it...... I can/do, sometimes, sneeze with my eyes open; it all depends on what's causing my sneeze and how violent it is.
Avatar f tn I was reading a lot of posts but they were from 2006 so I am wondering if there is anyone out there that absolutely cannot keep their eyes open???? I don't believe it is from any sleep issue and my eye exams are fine so my thought is that it is because something might be wrong with my sinuses. I have had this problem since I was a kid but it has so dramatically gotten worse that I am scared to drive, and I am even having hard time writing this now.
Avatar f tn If only present when open or close eye and just momentary not to worry

Avatar f tn I am a doctor caring for a patient that was in a car accident and is hospitalized. Yesterday i cut myself shaving under my chin and the patient sneezed right in my mouth, eyes, and (especially my cut). Its was a thick sneeze. Do i go for pyp or test ?
Avatar m tn Time to see if there are more informative sources regarding this condition. My eyes squirt fluid whenever I sneeze or blow my nose. The fluid sprays across my reading glasses (if I'm wearing them). Now, in stark contrast to this excessive fluid situation, both eyes seem to be experiencing "dessicated tears" (according to tests by my optometrist).

Avatar n tn My eyes constantly bother me, I sneeze some, and nasel congestion. Eye doctors find no reason for it. Is this allergies?
Avatar f tn One more thing! Whenever I sneeze, both my eyes will jerk and twitch for several moments, almost like a seizure of sorts. It is so noticeable that I always turn my head away when I sneeze.
Avatar m tn Happens to me also, I get Hives but assumed my dry eyes wre from hot dry climate and the time of year. Be gald to hear other experiences.
Avatar m tn Hi all, This will sound extremely bizarre, but I would be grateful if anyone is able to shed some light on this very annoying thing that I am experiencing. It all started when I rubbed my eyes in my mirror 2 years ago, and then my eyes started stinging really badly, and I found I couldn't sneeze for about 2 weeks. For about 2 years now, I have been experiencing an inability to sneeze naturally. The sneeze builds up, but it never completes.
Avatar m tn m 22 years old now, and ever since I can remember to about 12 or 13 I have always had severe dark circles under my eyes. My skin has always been very white and pale and many portions of my body I can see my veins in my arms, green, blue etc. I have read on a lot of forums that under eye circles can be caused by dehydration, malnutrition, vitamin deficiencies, sleep deprivation, etc.
Avatar m tn I have tried snorting pepper, snuff etc and looking at bright light - no Sneeze, not even a desire to sneeze. I have a number of neuro symptoms, no gag reflex, partial paralysis of throat, difficulty swallowing, Exotropia (eyes constantly tend to cross) along with muscle cramps, pain, weakness and fatigue - all progressive. Neuro says MS but never had a positive MRI. My question: Is anyone aware of a neuro/muscular disease with one of the signs being the loss/lack of the sneeze reflex?
Avatar n tn About a month ago she started having allergy like symptoms. She wakes up with watery eyes causing her face to be wet. She has sneezing fits (always like 7 sneezes in a row). Coughs alot. She has atrial fibrillation continuously. No one has been able to get it controlled. She has a medtronic pacer, has had multiple ablations, cannot tolerate amiodarone or other drugs, norpace stopped working. She is short of breath and has no energy.
Avatar n tn When I wake up in the middle of nite to visit the restroom, I can not open my eyes. And when they finally open they burn. The following day at times, they burn all day. The longest that I have not been able to open my eyes was approx. 30 sec. and at times, I get tired of waiting that I just go back to sleep. I have used tear drop drops, lubercating gel and it aliviates it a little, but continues to burn.
Avatar m tn What else is going on in your life? Are you consuming any thing that can damage your body or mind? Live a healthy life style. As to are you awake? Since you remember the eye open problem, if not awake you are having a vivid dream. Do you think you can remember to try something next time that happens? I mean remember when you are in the can't open eye state. Can you see anything, i.e.
Avatar f tn i have been sleeping with my eyes wide open. My fiance says it scares him and he thinks something is wrong with me, so he yells for me to close my eyes.... Is this normal? This discussion is related to Sleeping with Eyes Open.
Avatar f tn One simple thing that can help is to get a back massager and run it across your browline, under your eyes, near your ears, and then on your nose to make you sneeze. This helps break up my sinus pressure. You can also do the top of your head, your neck, and anywhere on your face that seems to have built up pressure. Good luck.
Avatar m tn Hey , I was just searching about odorless gases that can irritate membranes, meaning that they can irritate eyes , nose , throat so causing to cough and sneeze and so on , exactly like out symptoms, some simple gases would be NO2 and SO2 did anyone do a research about it? Or had a breath test ?
Avatar f tn Hi there, Thankyou for any advice in advance! I have had this chronic problem for 5 years now :( I have been around the traps to try and figure it out but have had no luck. It is basically a constant pain & inflammation steming from the top back of my throat towards my forehead. When i relax my face & close my eyes my eyes are pulled straight up and the muscles make me frown. I now have a very deep forehead line in the middle of my eye brows.
Avatar f tn I’m getting really concerned because i can’t sneeze like i get the itchiness in my nose and i just can’t sneeze i inhale and can’t sneeze or sometimes when i try yawn it just doesn’t feel right and i can’t get a satisfying breath either i’m a young teen and i told my parents but they said it’s ok but i don’t feel like it is okay.
Avatar f tn I sneeze way more now too! I also have a wierd symptom where my eyes constantly water. It's very annoying I have no clue what is causing it.
Avatar n tn It's been a week since I removed my tonsils. I had tonsilitis. I have this really bad smell that comes out of my nose. I also believe I have sinus problems because before I had my tonsils removed I used to sneeze every single day, I haven't sneezed since I had the tonsils removed. However, I do seem to have the urge to sneeze but I just can't seem to sneeze. I do have red eyes when I can't sneeze.
Avatar m tn If you really are intrested in medicin and transmission then yes, HIV is found in saliva even if youre not bleeding, altough in an inactive and unpacked form so its not contaigous and there is no risk for infection. Theorethically viruses can infect through eyes, since it is an immunoprivileged site, or through open wounds (blood-blood) for that matter. You however had NO RISK. Listen to teak.
Avatar f tn Hey, yea our chocolate lab does the same when he gets excited.
Avatar m tn Every couple of hours if I do something such as, bend over, sneeze, massage around my right eye at all or any other motion, I can feel a small amount of water go from one side of my eye, through the tear duct, to the corner of my eye nearest my nose and comes out causing water to poor from my eyes. This is annoying more than anything, but there is some eye pain as well. I don't believe I have any allergies (I'm 21).
