About a week ago, I noticed a lesion on my left forearm which was circular, with a very small hole in the center. It was not itchy nor painful. At first, I thought it might be a
spider bite and living in the Southeast was concerned that I might have been bitten by a Brown Recluse, so I went to an emergency hospital.
The physician could not tell whether it was a bite, but was more concerned that it might be community-based MRSA and gave me a prescription for Mupirocin.
