Avatar m tn I have been keeping the wound covered from Monday until Saturday with neosporin in the beginning and then vaseline on it (plus a bandage) but I noticed literally zero change other than it stopped bleeding. The wound looks exactly like it did the day I received it. Saturday I tried to leave it aired out for 24 hours. It looked a little different, but sunday morning I showered and the wound became covered with a white film upon contact with water.
