How can I get rid of a colony of bacteria that has been camping in my nasopharnyx for better then a year now? Sinupulse irrigation of nose and sinus don't reach this area - throat irrigation doesn't bother it either. Every couple of months have to go on antibiotics to clear adjacent areas where spill over from the colony occurs.
Cpap set at level 9 unable to force air through the barrier. Pulse nasal/sinus irrigation only effective means of removing some of the blockage.
He also warned me that it might come out on its own in between -- which is what happened. I have been doing the nasal irrigation with NetiPot 3 to 4 times a day and that seems to have helped a lot. I have been very careful and have avoided blowing my nose for the first 1 week, however much i wanted to. Today, shortly after my nasal irrigation, I gently blew my nose and out came I think the Stent and some gunk with that. I am so relieved.
I'm at the very tail end of a cold and wonder if this is something that took hold while my resistance was down from that. Tonight I did a nasal irrigation (Neti pot) and then a sinus flood (lay on your bed with your head over the edge and fill your nostrils with colloidal silver - it puts the colloidal silver in touch with that entire area to kill off any bacteria that are there) and then did a second nasal irrigation again. I'm also taking colloidal silver internally.
I give off some chemical that causes people to get post nasal drip, so people have to sniff and cough to clear up their nose and throat. It also numbs the sense of smell (whether it's because of the drip, or direct action of the chemical, I don't know). I virtually never hear anyone say "it smells", people just look confused because they don't understand why they are getting a drip.
