Hello, For boils, keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or Neosporin can be applied but if the symptoms are severe then get an evaluation done from a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
I suffer with large boils at least 2-4 times a year on my rear end and face. I currently have a boil on my jawline and went to see my Dermatologist today, who refused to lance it because she said it was "firm" and nothing will come out. I was given antibiotics and a return appt. for 2 weeks. I have found out that boils come from infected hair follicles. What can I do to get rid of a boil ASAP?

I have suffered from recurring boils even was admitted to the hospital for 4 days with a staph infection. Dr. told me to use antibacterial soap and take a round of antibiotics. Neither of these treatments worked. Here is the real cure, Cured my recurring condition in less than 1 week. 1. Go on a juice fast for 3 days. Juice fast consists of fresh made juice made with a juicer, blended raw vegetable soup (receipe below) lots of water and hot green tea with organic tumeric.
Insteadk, wash daily with Hibiclens (OTC antiseptic), apply bacitracin ointment to each boil after washing and also in your nostrils to suppress the growth of staph germs. Consider also seeing a doctor for a prescription for an oral antibiotic for a short while. It's not a vitamin deficiency. Best. Dr.

Hello, For such boils, do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream prescribed by your doctor and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful on the bumps.

Hello, They seem like boils or furuncle. Boils are caused by infection of the hair follicle by staph aureus. Bacterial skin infections can be spread by shared cosmetics or washcloths, close human contact, or by contact with pus from a boil or carbuncle. Please keep the area clean and apply warm compresses and some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics.
I started off simply having pimples, and then i started having acne (cheeks were filled with it) and slowly just about a year now, im having these boils (i didnt know they were boils until i went to a dermotologist). He gave me about a week's medication and sulphur mask + 2 ointments. And anibacterial facewash and 2 creams (day and night) which were oil-free moisturising creams.

So for years now I've been getting blackheads and boils in a rather embarassing part of my body, my bottom. They are where the skin of the cheeks rub together. They pretty much never drain and they always turn up. It's very embarassing and I was wondering if other people had it/ if it is normal and if there is any way to get rid of them. I keep that area very clean but they turn up regardless.
I have boils on my stomach.I had a previous outbreak a couple of months ago.I popped those and they spread even worse over my upper right side of my body.I went to the doctor and was told that it was a staph infection.I was given antibiotics and told to keep area clean. They did clear up entirely after about a week.I had them for two weeks previously before I had gone to doctor.I now have boils popping up again, but around my bellybutton area. What could be causing these?

Hi, i have been suffering from boils/pimples inside my vagina. I definately do not have any stds as i had a full MOT. And i am very careful with personal hygene. they seem to be linked to my hormones. Normally use magnesium sulfate cream to drw them out. This time however i noticed a small painless one. I gave a little squeeze and it dissapeared without and muck. It seemed to have just gone back inside somewhere.

I have read and been told that antibiotic treatment is usually the best treatment for nose boils. What I would like to know, is WHICH antibiotic(s) is recommended, at what strength, and for how long? You should also know, that I am allergic to Penicillin. I live very near a clean and safe Mexican border town and have shopped there many times. Nuevo Progresso, Mexico, is known for its quality pharmacias, and I could quickly and safely go there to purchase antibiotics without a prescription.
i have a boil or cyst looking thing that has been there for about 4 months i had one like 2 years ago and they had to drain it and give me anibiotics and it left a horrible scar.now i have 3 more little ones like big boils 2 on my panty line on my left buttcheek, and another on the left side in the front where my panty line goes. all i have access to is an american medic,i am stationed in iraq.and i dont know what to do? what kind of antibotics do i need ? do i need any?
I had very rigorous sex recently and i noticed that i had some small bumps/boils just below by belly button where my belt would be. I do have a bit of a stomach so my clothes may pinch around there as well. A couple weeks have passed and I have noticed the bumps are still there and even a couple new ones (after sex again) have surfaced looking boil like at the start (somewhat shiny). I shaved my pubic area and I noticed that there were a few white bumps at the base.
My doctor recently gave me oral antibiotics that are generic for Bactrim and a topical ointment called Mupirocin. I took the oral antibiotics once and I had severe vomiting and diarrhea, along with extreme fatigue. The topical ointment seemed to have a positive effect on a boil, but I'm afraid to continue with the oral antibiotics.
hi, im 27 yr old and i am having a problem with recurring tiny red boils on my penis head. occasionally there is slight itching..i have not had any sexual contact with anyone and i am sure it is not an std..but i used to masturbate everyday..i have tried applying vaseline,it is having a slight effect but the red boils recur after a few days..i have read a lot of posts and most of them suggest that its due to friction or fungus , but still im worried.
Hi, This could be seborrhoeic dermatitis. It is a skin disorder affecting the scalp, face, and trunk causing scaly, flaky, itchy, red skin. It particularly affects the sebum-gland rich areas of skin. Side effects to inflammation may include temporary hair loss. If severe outbreaks are untreated for extended intervals, permanent hair loss may result, because of damage to hair follicles. http://en.wikipedia.
