1%, a compounded nasal preparation, in my eye. I rinsed the eye with water for about one minute. Eye has had 5 retina surgeries, has band kerapothy, and no lens. PCC told me it's ok because the mupirocin is also used for eye preparations. Correct?

Allergist specalize in allergies. The Saline Solution mixed with baby shampoo, pure distilled water and 2% Mupirocin Ointment USP mixed together with percice measurements and I rinse my sinus daily with this home made solution. AND, KEEP YOUR EARS DRY. It's tough, but you have to keep your ears dry because it will continue to create bacteria in your sinus and head thus causing the same old sinus infections. I live in Seattle. Allergies here are bad.
There are three small reddish white colored bumps on the inside corner of my left eye not on the red part but closer to the nose they aren't itchy and don't hurt or anything, should I be worried about them?
Yesterday morning I woke up with what looked like two small bug bites about 2cm below my right eye. They were red and round with one having a dry flake of skin just at the head of the spot. I put some diluted tea tree oil on the spot with a q-tip and thought nothing of it again. Tis morning the spots were a big bigger, one is more oval-shaped, and I have a spot on my eyelid on the lash line much like a stye but with no pain or puss.
I shampoo my hair with T-SAL shampoo by Neutrogena, it helps to dry the areas up for about a week, but they never really go away. I have one on my right eye lid, it's small, but I know from the past that it will began to spread. I also have one on the side temple of my face and behind my left ear. They hurt really bad especially because of the areas they are in. I have gotten this round, sore area in the palm of my left hand that I have never had before.
The ER thought maybe it was MRSA and started me with a cream call Mupirocin which it doesn't seem to help. I know have the problem on the other eye. Could this be MRSA? I was thinking it was all along ezema.
I woke up this morning and my eye is practically closed shut. Pretty sure its not a pimple. Can you give me any insight on why it might be. The eye is very tender and sore and the bump seems like its growing as we speak. Doctors office is closed so have to wait until tomorrow to see someone.

said he though it was infantigo or otherwise impetigo. He perscribed mupirocin ointment, to apply 3 times per day. The rash on his neck went away quickly. The rash in the on the corner of his eye was more stuborn. Would seem to get better, then go back the way it was. It has been at least 3 months and it is still there. It has gotten more aggressive the past few days and has now spread to his other eye. No one else in the family has it. There is no puss or swelling. Just a red scaley rash.
I have had a throat virus and an eye infection in the past 10 days or so. Any idea what this could be? It is not molluscum - I've had that before. There is no white spot in the centre of my red bumps. Thanks!
In the meanwhile you can wear cotton clothes, use mild soaps and apply Neosporin cream on the bump. Keep an eye on it and get it evaluated if it enlarges in size. The bump on your lip can be a cyst, HPV wart or a benign skin growth. Since it has not grown in size but has become painless, it needs evaluation. Consult a dermatologist and get it examined and maybe biopsied to confirm the diagnosis. Till then apply warm compresses and some topical antibiotic like Neosporin or Mupirocin.
a day later it spread then I got bumps on my forehead behind ears, on my neck and on my eye lids, and it is slightly itchy on my cheeks? what could this be?what do I need to get rid of this?
Hello Dr. About two months ago, I woke up with a small pimple on the shaft (sideway) of my penis. Couple days later, it grew in size (became about 0.5 inches wide). Very ichy and painful to touch. About a week later, it became filled with pus and when you look at it, it look like it has an "red eye" in the middle. Finally, it exploded while I was taking a shower and all the pus came out. Two months later, it is still there but very small and more looking like a scar.
Treatment of shingles includes antiviral drugs, steroids, analgesics and anti viral eye drops. My sincere advice is to consult a dermatologist and get it evaluated. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing. Warm regards.
Now that she's had the a red spot under her eye for almost a month now, I'm wondering if the problem could be something entirely different. We use a mild face soap. Still they persist. She will have none then all of a sudden there will be ten on her face. I'm getting worried that there could be more going on than acne.
my grandma ask me to w8 until i see a opening like a eye in the centre then to squeeze it out.....It really hurts when i walk and do things.....:( Is thr any unpainful, quick home treatment?Pls help....
A few days ago I noticed a sore ( a small scratch-like) on the side of his nose close to his right eye. I thought it might be from where he wears glasses but now it is a cluster of blisters that looks like they have burst and a scab ( a deep scab) have formed over some of them. I was wondering if it is impetigo, and if so, how do I treat it so close to his eye with him wearing glasses? I have never seen impetigo. The only thing I know about it is what I have read on this website.
Hello, If it is not a typical bull’s eye pattern then chances of Lyme’s disease are less. Keep an eye on the rash. This skin rash can be due to contact dermatitis, nummular dermatitis or ringworm (fungal infection). Nummular dermatitis is a sort of eczema and allergic reaction is an important cause. Ask your daughter to apply some calamine lotion on the rash. Also she should wear cotton clothes and keep the skin sweat free.
Hi, It could be eczema, sweat dermatitis, allergic reactions or folliculitis. This could most definitely be secondary to shaving. You need to wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions and see if it helps. You could take some oral antihistamine medications like cetrizine or loratadine. You need to maintain a good personal hygiene .
There not painfull at all there not red or any other colour than my skin there just there and its a reall eye sore because there cleary visible when you look at on top of my reguler acne. If anyone might know what this is and how i might be able to get rid of it that would be greatly appreciated.
Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove and avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case. Dark circles under the eyes are temporary and caused due to insomnia, smoking, a family history of dark circles, deficiency of vitamin K in diet or allergies.
The physician could not tell whether it was a bite, but was more concerned that it might be community-based MRSA and gave me a prescription for Mupirocin. I went to a dermatologist on Monday and again she was not sure what it was. The first lesion is nearly healed, but I've had about 3 others appear on the same arm which are healing. Yesterday I discovered a larger lesion, which was scaly, circular with the small hole in it.
Apply warm compresses and keep the area clean. Also apply a topical antibiotics cream like Neosporin or Mupirocin. Drainage of the boil is done only when it becomes soft and forms a head. Take some over the counter pain reliever and consult a doctor for examination and antibiotics prescription. If you are sexually active then herpes should be ruled out.
I am going to make an appointment with a dermatologist, but when I went to my regular doctor, I should them this, and they said could be psoriasis, and that they will keep an eye. I am nervous, any ideas? I noticed a couple of almost "circles with a white perimeter and dark in the middle" I also shave my genital area, can this affect as well?
I'm 17 years old and I have a small cyst sort of a lump below my abdomen at the pelvis... It pains when it is presses.... It has a small eye in it... It had come in the same region once before and had oozed small amour of blood... It passed away after some time... It had come again and I am concerned if it is fatal or maybe cancerous.... I have been masturbating since I was 14... I've tried to stop doing it now but I am concerned maybe it is due to masturbation...will it go off on it's own???
I don't really have any sort of eye issues in terms of ooziness or anything, although when I took anti-itch eye drops, they hurt. It's not a makeup allergy. I threw out all my old mascara and got a new one that uses natural ingredients. Regardless of whether I wear makeup or not, my eyes look and feel the same. The weather isn't helping. I have a similar looking rash on my elbows. The only things that have helped are gel eye masks. I've been using clean, natural products as much as possible.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
