The lesions lOOK just like what I see online for impetago photos and the derm did just give me mupirocin topical so he must now be considering it possible impetago.......it might, might be improving ???? on this the third day of mupirocin but if it is it is very SLOW improvement (if any) and still some new lesions come daily. It is a blistery type rash. It does not itch but is VERY painful and bleeds or oozes clear fluid. Until they drain, the area swells which hurts a lot.
Two of them has actually turned into a red pimple (not sure if its really related, but I RARELY have acne and these have grown in the cluster spot in a shot interval) and some of them seem to have a small white head that can be scratched off. I never had such a LARGE cluster in the same place. In fact, I never had an acne problem before, I always had a clear skin...
I have used a 2% salicylic acid as a face wash each morning for a week, and the cluster is still there..
rarely one will swell and it seems logical to pop it (although probably not at all sensible) and it appears to be a white pus similar to that in acne, but i dont think its acne because the white bumps dont come and go like acne does. please leave some suggestions. also how can this be treated?

Avoid any kind of cosmetics and do not pop the pimples. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics or incision and drainage may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case. Also then the possibility of cystic acne has to be ruled out.

I have, what I can only describe as acne which is confined to my scalp. I am troubled by lots of spots and pimples, some have yellow puss in, some are just red spots. All are very sore to the touch. The main area of outbreak is a band across the back of my scalp from temple to temple, the sort of area where a hat band would contact your head. The spots are constantly appearing but I have periods of more severs outbreak. I have oily hair which I have to wash every day with baby shampoo.
Please help me out, I am very much worried. I have these blisters growing on the skin of my testes which never open up neither fade away but have no pain. But I experience terrible Itching on the skin of my testes, specially at the night time because of which I cannot have a good nights sleep. I have this for a year now and haven't been to a doctor till now. The blisters never open up and does not emit anything either. Sometimes they become small and sometimes they grow a bit bigger.
t know what to about because I been in this treatment for already for 5months and I still have acne but like white heads and red small ones what should I tell him or should I see another dermatologist what do you think ?I had a question what do you think about that treatment murad complex that comes out on tv?
I suffer from the same problem as you. I have looked at the picture and it is defiantly not a cold score.My advise would be to try tree-tee oil, which will get rid of the acne in a couple of days, you can get this from all good herbal shops and unfortantly you can't do anything about getting ance and it can be a nightmare when it happens!!

There are at least seven bright red swollen sore spots. With pressure they ooze bloody serous type secretion. I have put all kinds of acne meds on them, but they've been there for over a month. I'm way too old to be having this kind of thing.
By the way i have acne all over my body from my childhood which is very mild nowadays, i read regarding folliculitis and some how i feel i am close to it. As the blisters were formed where the skin might have rubbed with underwear. Would you suggest any medication for me. I got the below medication from site, do u suggest to use them.

itching rash on face,chest,and back that looks like acne. i have been to dermotolgist and he said it was sensitive skin or allergic to uv rays. i have tried triamcinolone acetonide cream that the doctor prescribed and only helps alittle on itching. this has been going on for a year now. any suggestions?

Hello I have the strange problem of being unable to identify what it is that is going on with my skin. I hope to get some help.
I have small bumps on my back and arms. It is not Keratosis Pilaris, or anything like it. It is not acne, as touching the bumps do not hurt like acne and they don't "break out", the bumps are just there. There is no pain, itching, or swelling associated with the bumps.
It has lasted for about 10 months and I take protopic and it seems to help and Triamcinolone works but as soon as I stop using them it comes back in just a couple days. I just want a cure for this because medications help but it just keeps coming back. As you can see, it is just a group of small bumps acne like, they are not painful and they just show up almost overnight and are somewhat bright red. They seem to stay under my mouth and chin area.
Hi i am a 24 year old male and i am quite concerned about an outbreak of spots on the left side of my face. i have never had any problems with spots and have allways had very good skin i get the occasional spot maybe once every 3 months, however i recently popped a spot by my mouth on the left side and it has not healed for over 2 weeks it just continually weeps puss since then my left side of the face has around 15 to 20 spots can any one explain this to me?
He said my skin is very healthy, I was afraid that I was allergic. The symptom(acne) is still there. I saw another doctor, who said I had folliculitis, and he prescribe Bactroban(Mupirocin) for me. He also hints me the folliculitis cannot be cured completely. I have to put Bactroban on the infected part to relieve the symptom, when I found acnes symptom become more severe. Then, I put Bactroban on my face. At the first 2 days, nothing happen. I therefore put more Bactroban on.
Okay so Ive been suffering from acne for about 5 years or so, and Ive never experienced anything like this. I woke up one morning and noticed that I had very small whiteheads on the left side of my face. I dismissed it as regular acne and didnt think much of it, but as the day went on I noticed that it started to spread. The next morning I woke up with these whiteheads ALL over my face.
It seems like when i shave my face clears up a little, but few days go by and my face, neck and back start getting this red painful bumps, ive also tried changing my diet eating less greasy foods and nothing either. I have no health insurance and it will be a good amount i cant afford now to go visit a doctor regarding my concern. Is there anything else i can do or take to help with my skin problems?
m already in debt for other medical bills. Do you think maybe it could have started out as regular acne and turned into an infection? I'm a really slow healer, and anemic. I have lack of vitamin K, and I bruise really easy...i've been putting neosporin on all the areas and they seem to be gettin better.
