Avatar n tn THere are 2 Flair hyperintense lesions along the undersurface of the copus callosum. Focus of T2 hyperintensity is seen in the deep white matter of the right frontal lobe. There is a focus of T2 and FLAIR hyperintensity inthe left posterior pons. He keeps saying that they are not active lesions and that therefore becasue his sympotms came on one week prior to this MRI of the brain that they can not be M.S. He states that he has to have active lesions to have sympotms.

The MRI showed lesions in the brain and in the spine. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I stayed on the hospital for 5 days taking steroid 5g. then I took 40mg for one week, then 20mg for the next week.

In fact I'm supprised your american doctor even knew what Victan was. Either way it's a good anti-anxiety drug and should help. If it fails to do the trick then try Klonopin. There are so many Benzodiazaphine drugs on the market world wide. One would be hard pressed to remember them all.

We have flares for major episodes, etc, anyone game for coming up with a short/simple/catchy name that quickly defines our s/s that comes and goes........
Avatar f tn My MRI report states: The ventricles and the cortical sulci are slightly prominent: On T2 weighedand flair images, there a few small focal areas of increased signal intensity involving parietal white matter bilaterally. Smallvessel ischemic changes are suspect. I'am a 67 year old breast cancer patient. Loss of balance, daily headaches of migraine intensity. Sore muscles, back pain etc.
