bengay - its ok - lol - avoid overuse of aspirin advil and alleve - the remedy depends mostly on the cause - there are some over the counter remedies - i take glucosamine with chondroitin and msm and vitamin d3 - these work for me - see if it goes away on its own - then try something else

Do you take any supplements such at Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM? They work great for me. As long as I take them every single day. My bones/joints would get so back I could barely walk, and I could tell if it was going to rain anytime soon because they would hurt even more! The Glucosamine really helped! Also a good calcium supplement. If these thinks don't help over a few week period I'd talk to your Primary Dr. about other possibilities. Good luck, I hope this helped!

I looked up the Lysine which seems to be for feline herpes which isn't the issue today. I did find conflicting suggestions"never give your cat aspirin"/ "give your cat tiny amts of aspirin for arthritis pain relief" THAT'S a big dang help. I'll go w/no aspirin. Your dog could be suffering anything from simple arthritis; to hip dysplasia; to a pulled muscle, tendon or ligament; to a ruptured spinal disc; a tumor or cyst in a bad place; or any number of other issues. She's obviously in pain, so get her to the vet as soon as possible.
