Thank you so much for the great information. I like to know what to expect, but I have to ask....do people really try to fake things??? Who the heck would actually want to have these issues?? Anyway...
I went today and got a cd of my mri and ct scans that they took recently, as well as the written reports for my own record. They also faxed my medical records that are pertinent to the neurologist. I tried to get my own copy but they charge for them and I didn't have any money on me.
The other day after more blood work, it was changed to Hep C. What can she expect from having this and of her journey to heal from it? What can I do to best help and suport her through this? It scared me more to learn, it is Hep C, intead of Hep B. I've read that at least 75% of people who have Hep C go into a chronic form of it. That it can lead to debilitating health problems, and in some cases, even death. This is all new to us, and a first for this in our family.
Have you been very direct and asked the doctors about your concerns? That's good news that most of your tests have been fairly normal so far. How long ago was your CT scan and what did the doctors say about it? It's good to hear that you are in touch with some specialist and that you are getting another scan to be sure. Why are you on antibiotics again? Have you tested positively for some type of infection that the doctors have informed you about?
They only need the full bladder for the very beginning of the scan in the early weeks if im not mistaken.
I am only 28 weeks 6 days so I am not sure what to expect at your appointment.... I have had 3 ultrasounds , the first was at 14 weeks to figure out my EDD and then one at 22 weeks for the anatomy scan , and due the baby's positioning they couldn't get all their measurements so I had to have my third one at 27 weeks.... I think most people only have 2 unless there are problems.... my mum went her last 2 pregnancies not having a single one.
So now that we are going to be sitting and waiting for a month to hear what he has to say I am trying to collect as much info as possible because at this point my mind is running wild on how this disease works. What can our child expect to endure throughout life with this disease, as if CP isn't going to be hard enough on him now something else for him to deal with. Thanks in advance for your information.
I was surprised they only performed an external pelvic ultrasound, I had expected them to do both an external and a trans-vaginal. I will be meeting with my family dr next week to discuss what to do next (I think she said colonoscopy), but while I'm waiting for the colonoscopy (wait times are terribly long here) should I request a trans-vaginal ultrasound?
i have had an mri scan as i was suffering with my left ear headaches and dizziness i have just got my results my ear is fine but they said i have white patches on my brain that would not expect to see in someone my age(49)they are referring me to see an neurologist do you have any idea what it could be
m scheduled with a great neurosurgeon, who is supposed to help interpret for me and tell me what needs to be done. However, that appointment is like 3 weeks away and the suspense is driving me insane. Can someone please tell me what they know about what constitutes surgery for this condition?

i have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for 12 years and have been on pain medicine for that amount of time oxicodone,loratab,morphine,and anyother opium you can think of nothing will work after a while so the pain center kept going up on mi miligrams even tough i kept saying that my lower back hurts i can't walk,i feel like i have ants in my legs and my nerves hurt not my muscles.
