Should I have an MRI scan it will set me back a lot of money..... Could something really be wrong> I do not know wat was in my E even if it gave me an MDMA feeling. This is a never ending comedown. THROBBING in my head wont stop... I feel different... not the same. I'm sweating lots and not sure if that the heat or me.... help me someone.... how can I get better? Do I need amino acids or sumthin???
Hi guys I wanted to know if anyone knows where to get a private head MRI scan done in the Birmingham region. I've been suffering from this head related illness for almost 2 years and the doctor thinks it's depression which I disagree because the only thing that gets me depressed is the problem itself I'm suffering from.
Eight weeks ago I got a weird head sensation - first came electrical sounds like the crackling of a faulty circuit, followed by a sensation of the inside of my head rising up towards top of head (just once), followed by brief dizziness. I don't think the whole experience lasted more than a minute. I felt okay afterwards. Two weeks later I was still wondering what had happened so I discussed with my GP who was concerned and she referred me to a neurologist.
Yes I get these weird feelings in left side of my head but I can handle that if I know it is nothing serious. My friend who is a GP has said to me throughout these awful months of worrying that it is very likely the MRI would not be able to explain it. Fingers crossed I will get the same result as you come Jan or feb next year.
It came out of on nowhere 2 months ago i was working away at my desk and i felt this pressure kind of feeling on top of my head in that one tiny spot top left of my head its like the size of a quarter. It has been on and off every day for two months sometimes it hurts but only for a second and the pain isnt severe but i notice its there and its annoying and due to my anxiety problems you can guess what goes through my mind>Any comments are greatly appreciated thank you.

For persistent headaches, possibilities like migrainous, cluster, tension, pinched nerve in cervical spine and refractive errors that need to be evaluated thoroughly with the help of a neurologist here. Migraine like headache can be throbbing, one sided of face & head and preceded by aura (starts with blurred vision). Cluster headache may appear as burning, explosive in nature and tear appears from eyes.
3 days ago i was in a soccer game and i had got kicked in the head by my teamates foot. the next day at practice we were just kicking the ball around and i started to get disoreinted. i am seeing purple dots on the cieling and my eyes are dialated.2 days after i got kicked i started no being able to concentrate on anything. do you haveany ideas what it could be?
He was given an MRI scan and various other tests. The MRI scan was reported as normal. Can a head trauma of 6 years ago show up in an MRI scan?
I should also say that he has a crack in his forhead where he fell and when he laughs it is visible. When you stroke his head you can feel the dent. I have added a piccie of his head it was taken about a 2/3 weeks after his fall.

It's 4:00 in the morning and I couldn't sleep because of the pressure,tenderness and throbbing in the top of my head. It"s painful to touch the top of my head and little hair bumps top up sometimes. it's worst today then before. I have a bald spot in the top of head also. I am under a lot of stress working two jobs and single.

ve had this weird pressure in the back of my head and feeling dizzy and lightheaded. I feel it a lot when I close my eyes and when I open them nothing is spinning! I'm always nauseous and because of all this I've had an increase in anxiety as well. I've been to the ER twice and seen my GP more times that I can count and have no answer. However, I still have significant head pain at the back of my head. It could be described as a good deal of pressure at the back of my head that intensifies when I strain. When I walk, the impact of my feet on the ground makes my head and teeth hurt...I can no longer exercise due to this and the quality of my life has been greatly affected by all this. I have constant head pain...The worse part is...no one can give me an explanation for this....

My spouse was attacked by men with baseball bats on August 16th of this year, they split his scalp wide open he had 40 staples, and 200 plus stitches. has had a headache since, underwent an ekg, and now is scheduled for an MRI. I am very concerned because since he was attacked he keeps passing out sometimes more than once a day, and has constantly been complaining of a headache, and feeling extremely tired.
Hi i had an MRI today as i keep feeling really tired and dizzy, this has been going on 4 months. During the MRI a pressure built up inside my head and and eyes it felt like my head was going to explode. I am not a wimp by nature but i had to push the emergency button to stop the scan. This was the last scan and i was only 40 secs away from completion. I looked on search engines and this seems like an unusual MRI experiance can anyone shed light???
ve been tested for MS and some other conditions that have all come up negative. I have my MRI and am waiting to see the results of it. I know none of you are doctors but I would love to hear any of your opinions/thoughts. Thank you in advance and this forum is very great and has been so informative so far.

I had an anuerysm in January and survived it with no apparent scars other than the scar from the crainotomy. I am experiencing head and ear pressure. It fills as if my head is going to explode. It last for a few minutes then goes away. I am also experiencing ringing in the ears, left eye twitching and sluggish walking. Could this be because of the subarachnoid hemorrahage? I had a cat scan in March, it showed no signs of water on the brain.
