A friend of mine got an MRI done today... showed a 1-inch lesion. They suspect an intraosseous lipoma lesion at the anterior of clivus in the left IAC (Internal Auditory Canal?)... he will be getting an CAT scan for confirmation. He has been getting dizzy on and off for the last 6 months and finally went to get a check-up. EENT thought, it was a viral infection of the his inner ear. (Olive leaf extract had helped him get rid of the dizziness, how did this help his vertigo?

I had my first MRI scan today with contrast of brain and spine, suspected MS. Have been told results take about two weeks. If it was a tumour would I hear sooner. I live in Britain .

Actually a doctor is the only one who can order a MRI or CT scan to determine the root cause of your pain. Get a referral to neurology or neurosurgery. The pain down your legs could be caused by sciatica and if so it spawns from a disc in your low back that is impinging on the sciatic nerve. It sounds like you might have a Heel Spur . . .very painful, especially first thing in the morning and after sitting for long periods. After playing football last night my heel or to be more specific, an area on the back of my leg an inch or two above the heel is very sore. I am having problems walking this morning and I am wondering if there is a way to tell if it is possibly a tear in the achilles from over playing or maybe just a bruised heel from the pounding on the ground? The calf is just hanging there and awhile back he had a knot just above the ankle, now it is at the heel. He has thrown his whole body off trieing not to put weight on the leg b/c of the pain. His heel has started hurting and also his back. I guess my ? is...What do u think is going on with the leg and do you think surgery would fix it or is it to late? For a year now I have had a pain in my foot, there is a fair size bulge on the inside of my foot close to the heel. Also the veins bulge from the side to the bottom of my foot at times. This all occured a year ago when I was walking in heels and slipped on uneven pavement and twisted my ankle. was x-rayed and nothing broken. Frustrated, as I am now on pills again to try to bring down the inflammation. Thank you for any comments or help.

He has had xrays, MRI all clear but continues to be in severe pain. MRI show a hole in heel, callus returns even though it is removed. No relief what so ever. Foot dr. finds nothing. On top of this he has had both hips replaced and has developed horrible swelling on both legs and feet. Drs. here in Santa Fe are offering no help whatsoever. Where do we turn. He is only 54 yrs.

I actually wore heels quite a few times at the beginning of my pregnancy im 15wks now & I turned out just fine. Im sticking to wedges now cause pointy ones are starting to get uncomfortable for me. But no I don't think that's true. But do be careful not to fall cause that may cause that problem.

At 3-4 the canal Diameter is11-12mm w/small amount of CSF around the cord. At 4-5AP diameter of 9mm and mild flattening of the cord. At 5-6 canal is only 10 mm with only a trace of CSF anterior to the cord and none to the posterior. At 6-7thereis mild central narrowing of the canal and Diameter is 11 mm. I get a crunchy type sound when I move my head/neck in any direction. I was having unbearable headaches until prescribed2.5mg Valium twice daily.
