mri-scan

422104 tn?1209763904 Good evening, just looking for an interpretation of my brain scan. "Within the right frontal white matter, three small foci of T2 hyperintensity are seen which represent non speciific white matter disease. May be related to small vessel ischemia, vasculitis or potentially demyelinating disease." Guess I'm asking if anyone dx with MS had a similar report.
Avatar f tn The Mammo and US could be read on the spot but the MRI report would take some time. I'm sure you'll get the rest of your information at your appointment. Some things just can't be rushed and the interpretation of the MRI would be one of them. You'll just have to do your best as the waiting game .... it's tough but necessary. Regards ....
Avatar n tn However if in doubt other methods can be employed such as cardiac MRI, MUGA scan, ventriculography, and a CT scan. Of these ventriculography is the gold standard for ejection fraction calculation. Please consult your cardiologist and discuss whether the EF can be measured by some other method. Also certain medications too help improve cardiac function. Discuss all possibilities. If nothing helps then defibrillators and pacemakers help. Hope this helps. Take care!
Avatar m tn these can be caused by an array of conditions, some alcohol related, but can also mean nothing at all. an accurate interpretation of and mri scan would likely reveal their nature.
Avatar n tn I a cat scan done because of dizziness and then a MRI was done because of something abnormal on the cat scan. The impression of the MRI said there are multiple areas of abnormal signal intensity in the cerebral white matter. A demyelination process would be a strong consideraton. Nonspecific nonacute microvascular changes with a vasculitis would also be in the differential diagnosis. Can you please explain what this means? My dr.

Avatar f tn HI, Interpretation of reports should be done in correlation with findings of examination, ultrasound scan and MRI report. The report suggests that there are cystic lesions in the abdomen. The origin and nature of these lesions needs to be ascertained in order to institute further treatment. Consult a gynaecologist and a surgeon for an examination. Hope this helps.
492898 tn?1222243598 s interpreter, if one looks back at all the major tests, on no CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound, even by palpitation have my cancerous lymph nodes shown up as anything but normal and unremarkable.

I have a high deductible HSA plan and still have not met my deductible. I called Kaiser and they told me I would have to pay $1050. When I called 5 other independent imaging labs in the metro area - found they all only charged an average of $600 and the cost included interpretation by a Radiologist.
Avatar f tn Can a neurologist legally interpret MRI neuro exams and issue reports for referring physicians in outpatient facility ? . I thought only Radiologist were allowed to do this .
