Hi I have recently diagnosed with Klebsiella pneumoniae in vaginal infection. I had a vaginal delivery 10 months back with a very bad tear and it took 6 months to heal and was fine for 3 months and after that I was diagnosed with vaginal pus on the vaginal wall stuture and the pus was drained and the pus culture report says the bacteria is Klebsiella pneumoniae I am worry ied how it could caused and for recurrence? Now I am have two more small boils near the wall.

Hi I did a HVS and the doctor found klebsiella pneumoniae, heavy growth after rounds of antibiotics. I started taking levofloxacin for seven days for a moderate growth. Did a swab, still moderate growth. Then the doc gave me two shots gentamicin and two shots ceftriaxone and then it turned into a heavy growth. I have burning, discharge, pain and my cervix was badly infected. The infection cleared in my cervix but I still have heavy growth. I am now taking Cefuroxime. Will this bacteria ever die?
and for about 7 months my stool always accompanied by mucus and then I try to check a stool culture and the results were found Klebsiella pneumoniae ... I was so frightened with the result ... is this something to do with hiv?
whether anti hiv test results I was a fake?

hey there, badgerMR. to be honest, i took metronidazol just one day after i took my azythromicine (i know, shouldn't self-diagnose), but I took them anyway. and it did not help. I know there's an alternative which is tinidazol but I'm just saying I did take antibiotics against MG myself and it did not help the symptom...
doxycycline, azithromycin and moxifloxacin. The first two failed to clear my infection and now I have two days that I finished the moxifloxacin 400 mg( 10 days treatment) clearing my symptoms. My question is, Is it possible for the bacteria to reoccur after the moxifloxacin treatment? And if yes what other option are there?
A recent study was done to show that Myco was only erradicated by 85% of those on the Azithro regiment described, however Avelox ( Moxifloxacin) killed Myco in all cases. Routine is to try described Azithro regimen first and if symtoms still exist Moxifloxacin. Why? I guess so that Myco doesn't become Moxifloxacin resistant. Save the bugs, kill the patient kind of thing. I say take the 400mg a day X 10 day regiment of Moxifloxacin and help yourself.
They have me on Bactrim for the Klebsiella pneuomniae and Amox for the streptoccocous. Mine was the size of a golf ball as well.
Started feeling pain on a Monday and thought it was an inside hemorroid, so I self medicated with Prep H, BUT by Thurs. it was to painful to walk or sit. Went in and you guessed it, I misdiagnosed myself (hey I did not stay at a Holiday Inn). They started the Bactrim thinking it was a simple infection. Had to take it for two days before they could cut and drain.
