If you meant to say that you took Moxifloxacin, and you still have symptoms, it just means that you have multi drug resistance MG. Yes, there are STD’s in this country that are not known about AND MG is the culprit behind many undiagnosable urethritis/prostatitis issues.

My question is, Is it possible for the bacteria to reoccur after the moxifloxacin treatment? And if yes what other option are there?
A recent study was done to show that Myco was only erradicated by 85% of those on the Azithro regiment described, however Avelox ( Moxifloxacin) killed Myco in all cases. Routine is to try described Azithro regimen first and if symtoms still exist Moxifloxacin. Why? I guess so that Myco doesn't become Moxifloxacin resistant. Save the bugs, kill the patient kind of thing. I say take the 400mg a day X 10 day regiment of Moxifloxacin and help yourself.

My husband is 53 years old and in excellent health -- doesn't drink, exercises regularly. He has a bicuspid aortic valve that is being managed with Lisinopril, and he had a prostate biopsy last year that came back negative, and since then, his PSA is within normal range. Last month he had a routine physical and his wbc came back at 1.9 with neutrophil ABS at 0.4. He has received no treatment thus far, the doctor has adopted a "wait and see" attitude and ordered weekly cbc's.
I had a blood test yesterday and results show a WBC of 2.9 and also low neutrophils of .60 (meaning I have moderate neutropenia). All other values are within range.
I had a blood test done a year ago and everything was good then (WBC of 5.6).
I don't have a fever or additional symptoms and don't think I have a virus.
I have as few questions:
1. Could this be a normal swing in my WBC, is it fairly common for healthy people to drop low and bounce back up?

Patients with CML are immunocompromised and can easily acquire infections. Neutropenia also puts a patient in an immunocompromised state.
For now, it is very important to prevent acquiring any infection. You should avoid crowded places and persons with ongoing infection.

I have tested negative for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, TB and mycloplasma. Symptoms first occured around 3 weeks after having unprotected sex with a female.
Symptoms:
Pain/stinging when urinating
Itchy / Inflamed tip of penis
Creamy white discharge from penis (NOT from under the foreskin but from the 'hole' especially in the mornings)
(No swollen lymph nodes, testicles are not swollen or painful)

Be that as it may, with repeated treatments with both doxycycline and azithromycin, you may wish to talk to your doctor about a course of moxifloxacin. He had pain with urination and came up positive for mycoplasma genitallium. I have done doxy and azithromycin and still came up positive for mycoplasma genitallium and ureaplasma. my partner and I are finishing up 14 days on Moxi and I am still having cramping. My partner is still having testicular pain. So I’m guessing this didn’t work either. I would assume my symptoms should be cleared up right after the treatment, right? Anyone have success getting any other medications in the USA?
When I came it felt so ******* great I thought my prostatitis went away no it got vicious more than ever to i once again sought medical treatment found out my CBP all these years was mg and now everything is cleared up I am still on the moxifloxacin and rifampin as a precaution since I had it for 16 years and the fact I had a really high bacterial load.

Hello all, I'm not sure if everyone is familiar with my story but I have neutropenia and graves disease. I need to get my wisdom tooth extracted because I have avoided it long enough. When I first tried to get my wisdom pulled the dental surgeon realized that my wisdom tooth was in my nerve and that i would suffer damage if pulled. I was told to prolong it as much as I could however, I get horrible migraines (I've suffered from migraines since 13) and I need my tooth taken out.
i actually had my follow up visit with my urologist yesterday and I inquired about moxifloxacin and he said that he it is not available in the untied states. my urologist was still unaware of what to do for me so he referred me to the infectious disease department because, as he said, they can do more extensive lab testing. i am beyond frustrated @ this point and i wonder how many men has had a similar problem.
I’ve taken zithro, doxy, Bactrim, over the summer. And lots of it. And recently I’ve taken cipro and a shot of rocephin. It was also recently that my test results from a swab culture came positive for mycoplasma when in the past urine tests always said i was negative for all STDs. When my test results kept coming back negative the doctor told me it was fine to have sex with my partner.
I was diagnosed with pneumonia 6 weeks ago. I was on oral antibiotics for 2 days, then admitted with an IV drip for 3 days (levifloxacin, as I'm allergic to penicillin-based drugs) then given a 5 day course of oral clarithromyacin. I rested for 2 more weeks after finishing the antibiotics but was still coughing yellow mucus and feeling tired with moderate/mild activity.
i had some blood tests done and they told me i have mild neutropenia and mild lymphocytosis. i have no idea what it could be from. a doctor suggested to get a bone marrow extract to rule out the worst case scenario, but only if i wanted to (i really wouldn't wanna do that, to be honest i'm afraid of the process). i spoke to 3 other doctors and they told me its nothing to worry about and i definitely dont need to have my bone marrow examined.
Chemotherapy and radiation therapy and certain autoimmune disorders also result in neutropenia. So do not freak out. The cause has to be found out.
Absolute lymphocyte count is usually less than 4000 per microliter. So your count is high. Metamyelocyte is a normal stage in the maturation of granulocytes, and are usually seen in peripheral blood in infections and in bone marrow cancers or severe anemia.
In your case, the counts probably indicate an infection.
