I recently found out that my sister contracted Herpes from her now-husband. I believe she contracted this from him during sex. My sister has three small children. I'm worried about the kids getting this disease. How can they stay safe? I was told that her husband cleans the youngest child's pacifier by putting it in his mouth and then into the child's mouth. Can the baby get infected this way? I'm really worried.

I also think I autoinoculated myself on the mouth because I have tingling I never had before all around my mouth. Once again no blisters or sores except a small pimple that showed up after the tingling that went away in a few days on the edge of my lip to skin.

recently i observed white marble like blanch coating on upper plate of mouth in both of us.It cover the area of upper plate and around wisdom tooth gum. I get a metallic taste in my mouth, seems to only be on my tongue, maybe cause that's where taste comes from...It seems to happen about a week prior to my period and during my period. Over the last week while reading an HIV article that one can get HIV infected when HIV infected blood directly enters the blood stream through an open wound or cut or natural openings(mouth,eyes). By directly does it mean from one person to another without passing through air? What if an HIV infected person with a bleeding cut touches a door knob for example and a few seconds later someone else touches the door knob, and immediately touch their mouth, eyes or nose. Is this direct transmission?
