I plan to breastfeed my baby and my friend bought me some Mother's Milk organic tea. Have any of you ladies tried it? Does it work? Is it safe for you and baby?
this is my second time posting this and I am hoping that I get more responses... Have any moms on here used the mother's milk herbal tea and had any success in increasing their milk supply? I would like to know both positive and negative feedback also if it was a success how much did you drink a day and for how long also by how much would you say it increase your supply? And how quickly after starting it did it increase your supply.
Drink water ,oatmeal, you can make cookies too good recipies for production of milk are online, drink mother's milk tea, fenurgreek supplements help too. Mainly a nutrient rich diet and staying properly hydrated are the key things.
Almonds Help A lot too. I tried Mother's milk tea and almonds and a lot of water I was bf on demand so I had a lot of milk supply I was kinda drying up so they told me to try all that before trying fenergreek.
Your feelings are normal and I was that way too. I had my son on May 2nd and got my milk on May 6th. The first few days was colostrum and since my son was starving (and I was dead tired), I ended up breaking down and giving him formula. I still supplement with maybe 2 ounces of Similac once a day. Make sure from the time of your baby's birth that you're feeding him exclusively every 2-3 hours.
Chamomile, raspberry leaf tea, and a handful of other herbal teas are said to be labor inducing. They stimulate the uterus. I would search the ingredients before drinking it just to be safe. I'm the meantime, warm milk should aid with sleeping.
Oatmeal is awesome in helping produce more milk!! Also try Taking fenugreek capsules with another herb called blessed thisle. Both in capsules 3/5 times daily. There is also a great tea to add to those remedies, it's called Mother's Milk, it's awesome and very successful in helping increase milk supply (healthy lactation). You can find these online, in your local herb shop and some local grocery stores may carry them as well!! Congratulations mama!!
its a supply and demand thing, so if you breastfeed babes for all feeds, then you will produce enough milk to sustain him / her for as long as you feed.
s also something called mothers milktea that is sold in target or babies r us. But the best thing to do is latch baby on as much as possible. The more the bab latches on the more milk your body will produce. My cousin is a lactation and thats what sh always recommends. Good luck.
I had a very difficult nursing experience with my first. It sure can hurt! So I ended up doing a lot of pumping. I kept supply up by always continuing to pump for 5-10 minutes after the milk stopped coming. You could also drink "mother's milk" tea. I don't like tea so I didn't do it myself but most of my many sisters-in-law did and had great success keeping (or getting) milk supply up.
I should of said mother's milk *tea. Loi!! It's a tea you can get in the tea Isle at most grocery stores. Not sure if you know what meijers is, but that's where I got mine.
I'm looking use a few items I've read about like mother's milk tablets, teas etc. I have implants and my milk didn't come in as much as I wanted it to with my last baby. So looking for pros and cons of supplements.
Oohh okay. You can also try mother's milk tea. That helps with your supply. Or red raspberry tea, that helps with your supply and helps shrink your uterus back to how it was. I have a huge supply, all I do is stay hydrated and watch what I eat.
At first i really didnt do much i normally produce alot of milk i mean alot i would feed my son and could still pump a full bottle and my breasts were hard and huge so i stopped for 3days and my milk reduced im know exclusively breastfeeding him. I drink plenty of water which makes you produce milk and there is a mothers tea too and it helps.
