I do know that all to often things like this are not listed as side effects. The problem is that the doctors and or patients do not report them and so they too often get looked over as is the case here. I am sure there are many documented cases they just are not reported. I am not sure what the protocol is far as doctors reporting side effects but we as Pt's can call the pharmaceutical company and report effects. this will help many.

I have degenerative joint disease/disk disease and the pain pump was an option along with the spinal cord stimulator but these were/are a last resort for me as I have been on many drugs to control the pain. Morphine has many side effects and maybe your doctor is seeing some side effects which could be 'an answer' that is not being mentioned here. I know the opioid's did not work for my pain. Nerve blocks helped but remember the nerve does grown back over time.

Two things they have in common are sweating a lot and brain zaps. Effexor must be tapered off very slowly to help these side effects. Members have even had these effects a couple of months after stopping Effoxer. Seems to be a very hard med to get off of. If you still need a replacement med. there are many more to try that don't do this. Talk to your dr.

My question is does the morphine make you really nauseated and throw up. The last few days the side effects have slowed down, but I would still like to hear some suggestions from people in the forum.

Are you injecting prior to bed? The sweating and aches waking you up? And, did this sweating just start with the increase or did it start w/the lowest dose? Mine started w/the low dose. Sorry for all the questions. Just want to get an idea of how it all has transpired. I did see gradual improvements if it's any consolation. How are you feeling otherwise LollyBrown?

Hi, I have had 3 major back surgeries with several complications. Before my last surgery I was seeing a regular doc for pain management, and whenever I complained of increased pain he would up the dose. Eventually I was taking 800mg of MScontin a day, and 12 oxycodones for breakthru pain.

However, I have been having some pretty difficult side effects that have become more uncomfortable since my 50mcg increase. The symptoms have been extreme sweating even when it's cooler. Moving around at a slow pace I break out into a sweat, my head drenched. My menstrual cycle has not regulated either, prolonged bleeding. My appetite has increased as well as anxiety. I have chest heaviness on and off, too. Normal Range 0.40-5.00 and my results last week were 4.63.

i have now already got it down to 120mg twice a day this week and tomorrow i aim to reduce down to 100mg. Although i am still getting the withdrawal side effects such as sweating, chills,nausea etc, compared to the other week when i stopped completely it's more manageable by miles. Hello, Fatigue and dry mouth and dyspepsia are frequent side effects of Vesicare but it is unlikely to cause any sore throat. Your sore throat can be due to some viral infection. Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day and use over-the-counter throat lozenges. Salt water gargle is also a good way to relieve a sore throat. In addition, you can take anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen and paracetamol (acetaminophen) after consulting your general physician.

Opana er, for me at least, took away a majority of the pain with no real side effects. I still had pretty bad muscle stiffness that it just couldnt touch, but generally its pretty effective with an overall lack of side effects. But everyone responds to everything differently. It helps with the hot flashes by keeping you constantly sweating, which became annoying. Sweating and constantly being hot are a side-effect of Effexor. I weened off Effexor and am now just on Tamoxifen. I have the occassional hot flash, but it's quite a bit better than when I first started Tamoxifen and Effexor. The mood swings are coming back now almost a year after ending Effexor, but I'm learning to handle that myself instead of with drugs.

i was started on 10 mg citalopram after a weak the side effects of severe tremors, sweating , agitation, headaches, and muscle tightness seemed unbearable. I have been reduced to 5 mg (taking in the morning with .5 mg klonipan) with the option of taking a second klonapin during the day which I have been doing.
