I have seen an ENT specialist at Max Hospitals Delhi, and he has prescribed Montelukast Sodium and Levocetirizine hydrochloride tablets for allergy...could allergy make some people choke on food?
Hello and hope you are doing well. Montec Lc is montelukast 10 mg and levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5 mg. Montelukast belongs to the class of leukotriene receptor antagonists. It is used to prevent allergic symptoms. It works by blocking the action of substances that cause inflammation, fluid retention and mucous secretion. So, it is prescribed long term as preventive measure, so you can take it for 90 days. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
For burning throat, gargle with salt water immediately and keep doing it. Take Montelukast+levocetirizine for 10 days one daily(0-0-1) preferably night. take multivitamins and gargle with Tantum before food, betadine(1:5) and hydrogen peroxide(1:10) after food for three days. Take dichlo for pain relieving for 2 days(1-0-1). If symptoms persist, rush to the ENT specialist.
This is in cont.. to the quest I had posted earlier.and had forgotten to mention... I had few low risk exposures for which I underwent few Antibody & HIV Proviral DNA PCR test.Thankfully all were negative. I have been taking anti allergy tablet(salt Montelukast Sodium & Levocetirizine Di hydrocloride) once a day & anti anxiety tablets on and off. Do these medicines have any bearing on the antibody or HIV Proviral DNA PCR test.. I mean can they lead to false negatives in any of them.
Last month, I saw an immunologist for my dust allergies, and she prescribed me Montelukast Sodium Levocetirizine diHCi (Zykast). Well, that's what it says on the wrapper haha. Anyway, I'm not sure if I this may play a part in my rash. I'm not sure but I may have gotten the rash around the same time I started taking this. I tried not taking it for a couple days (two days ago), but like I said, it actually got worst. Anyway, I'd appreciate any help. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
