He prescribed first NYSTATIN AND TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE which i used for 2 weeks without any result, then he prescribed MOMETASONE FUROATE 0.1% which made the situation worse. i then decided to visit a dermatologist which he prescribed HYDROCORTISONE CREAM 2.5% twice a day for a month. 1 month has passed by but i don’t see any improvement at all. I have been single for over a year and masturbate 1-2 a week.
Could it be an internal infection instead of external?
I wondering if someone can help me i been having problems with my feet since Feb 1st,2013 been seeing alot of doctors lately ever since now till this day i have been giving alot of meds like creams and ointments like Dovobets,Clobetasol, Hydrocortisone 2.5%, mometasone furoate ointment alot of other meds i discarded. None of these meds are helping its just making it worst with fissures and cracks.
Try an over-the-counter (OTC) cream or ointment containing hydrocortisone (Cortaid, Preparation H),but it is to be applied sparingly to the affected area. A protective ointment that contains zinc oxide (Desitin, Balmex) also may help. If your symptoms are worse at night, please take an antihistamine like Benadryl to reduce itching until topical treatments take effect.
I used mometasone furoate (a topical steroid cream) last night (for the first and ONLY time) on the base of my penis due to a minor skin allergy. I had posted here before about a different condition, but I noticed something the other day that concerned me a little. I noticed that there was some redness on my scrotum and a slight burning sensation. I had been in a thermal pool the day earlier, so I thought it might be something like contact dermatitis. But my doctor prescribed me to apply mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream twice a day for 3 days and no moisturizer with a Cafadroxil Tablet. I am bit worried about the dryness and healing part. Over all my skin type is oily. But till now what I have heard after a laser resurfacing moisturizer is must. Please help and let me knw that is use of mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream is good fpr post laser resurfacing treatment without moisturizer??????
I went to the Doctor and was given a perscription for Mometasone Furoate Cream. I used it and the rash continued to spread. I now have it on my arms, legs, back and butt. I have tried Caladryl Clear and it relieves the itch, but the pimples remain. The have been taking the following medications: Simvastatin 40mg, Lisinopril 5mg, Asprin 81mg, One a day Vitamin, Recent changes to my medications are Acarbose 25mg, and Zyrtec 10mg. Could any of these medications be causing the rash???
I then went to a dematologist and he suggested that clobetasol is too strong and prescribed mometasone. After more than two months, the mometasone has not made any difference.
Can someone Id it from the picture and suggest alternate methods to treat it?
While passing through Shanghai I decided to let my travel insurance pay for a trip to an English-speaking GP who had a look at the rash and prescribed me 24-hr mometasone furoate cream and advised I wore cotton underwear etc. Unfortunately the rash hasn't cleared even after over two months using the strong cream (no need for a prescription in China :-).
Hi just wondering if it's possible to lose weight while taking hydrocortisone....I'm exercising 4 to 5 times a week and eating right but still can't lose weight,,, all I'm losing is energy..I have a pituitary tumor btw...
After applying hydrocortisone for 4 days the small red spots are gone and the one larger remaining spot is almost vanished completely. At this rate, it will probably be completely cleared up within the next two days. I honestly thought It was possible I had warts. I assume hydrocortisone wouldn't be able to clear something like that up. Any ideas what I had?
My doctor had suggested it could be warts but told me I would need to have a biopsy to know for sure.
I had some dry skin patches problem for same I was taking the treatment. My Dr prescribed me to use Mometasone Furoate cream for dry patches on my skin. But while travelling in a flight I felt my whole face was drying up severly so I applied it on my face around 5-6 time (after applying my moisturizer first ) on same day. Since a few months, I have started getting boils all over the body. I have been already applying Mometasone Cream...but not having any effect. The boils are very itchy, infact my entire body is itchy. I take anti-allergic tablets to reduce itch but do not want to make it a habit. So, I do not take those tablets every day. My skin is extremely dry so I even massage with olive oil every day. The boils are filled with blood...no pus. Sometimes they dry up but flares up again quickly.
A dermatologist would probably use mometasone creme for a very short duration (five days) but needs to be prescribed, especially since the child is very young.Calamine is a home remedy for application but to the non-hairy zone.

I was diagnosed with secondary autoimmune adrenal insufficiency in December. I feel lousy most of the time, have chronic abdominal pain and abnormal stools, and feel best flat on my back...which doesn't work well for someone who works 12 hour shifts in a busy ER while selling one house, building another, and has 2 teens and a disabled husband, lol. Here's my question. If a person has say diabetes, their meds are based on their blood sugars.
