I had posted here before about a different condition, but I noticed something the other day that concerned me a little. I noticed that there was some redness on my scrotum and a slight burning sensation. I had been in a thermal pool the day earlier, so I thought it might be something like contact dermatitis. I went to the doctor he prescribed mometasone furoate cream. I haven't noticed any burning sensation as I had earlier this week but the redness has remained.
I used mometasone furoate (a topical steroid cream) last night (for the first and ONLY time) on the base of my penis due to a minor skin allergy. Additionally, my wife and I are currently trying to conceive. When my dermatologist gave me the prescription for the mometasone furoate she knew I was trying to conceive and said it was OK to use.
I had some dry skin patches problem for same I was taking the treatment. My Dr prescribed me to use Mometasone Furoate cream for dry patches on my skin. But while travelling in a flight I felt my whole face was drying up severly so I applied it on my face around 5-6 time (after applying my moisturizer first ) on same day. Beside that I ate very-very spice food on that day. It was so much spicy that it brought blood in my nasals.

But my doctor prescribed me to apply mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream twice a day for 3 days and no moisturizer with a Cafadroxil Tablet. I am bit worried about the dryness and healing part. Over all my skin type is oily. But till now what I have heard after a laser resurfacing moisturizer is must. Please help and let me knw that is use of mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream is good fpr post laser resurfacing treatment without moisturizer??????
Hello, i have had a rash for almost 3 months and it was originally diagnosed as atopic dermatitis by my dr. He prescribed me Mometasone furoate 0.1%. I used about a tube and half of this cream rather quickly about 3-4 days on my bakc, chest, arms, groin area. After the rash appeared to have gone away, it would come back after i would work out and sweat. After the rash continued to appear i went to my dermatologist where they took two biopsies of skin from my back.
Using a steroid cream such as hydrocortisone is sometimes successful in helping control the hives out break and relieve the itching. I was prescribed a stronger steroid called Mometasone Furoate Cream usp 0.1%. In my case it's absolutely life saving!!

He did a skin biopsy on my leg, and I am currently still waiting for results. In the meantime, he gave a Elcom (Mometasone Furoate 0.1%) Cream to put arms and legs, once daily.
I have been using this cream for about a month now. I noticed that some of the spots on my arms are getting better, but as for my legs, there is little improvement. Also, I have noticed that the skin around the spots have become whiter and they seem to be different.

The have been taking the following medications: Simvastatin 40mg, Lisinopril 5mg, Asprin 81mg, One a day Vitamin, Recent changes to my medications are Acarbose 25mg, and Zyrtec 10mg. Could any of these medications be causing the rash???

I must inform you about the fact that I have been regularly using Melacare for the past 3 years and I read from few articles on the net that , prolonged application of mometasone creams can lead to skin atrophy since memetasone is a steroid. Now my question what can I apply to reverse this skin atrophy condition or will this actually self-heal the natural way ? would be very grateful to you if you would let me know at the earliest possible time. Hey Dr. Hook. I went through the archives about this issue but couldn't get a clear cut answer so here we go. I'm currently treating a case of penile lichen planus with mometasone furoate (Elocom) and lamisil combo. 10 days in its started to work. Got drunk last night and went to a massage parlor and received very brief oral sex to the point I was still semi flacid. Regardless, anxiety came over me and I started dwelling about HPV and STD's.

I searched on the net and found that the dark patches are hyper pigmentation or melasma. one more thing this dark brownish area gets darker when i am tensed.

He prescribed first NYSTATIN AND TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE which i used for 2 weeks without any result, then he prescribed MOMETASONE FUROATE 0.1% which made the situation worse. i then decided to visit a dermatologist which he prescribed HYDROCORTISONE CREAM 2.5% twice a day for a month. 1 month has passed by but i don’t see any improvement at all. I have been single for over a year and masturbate 1-2 a week.
Could it be an internal infection instead of external?
